Oriens Hotel & Residences Myeongdong

The location is fantastic! If you're taking the airport shuttle, it drops you off right outside. It's also very close to the subway station. When we arrived, we took the subway and exited at Gate 4. From there, you walk straight, then turn left at the police station intersection and walk a bit further down the alley. Gates 5 and 7 require crossing the street and turning right. When we were there, the elevator at Gate 5 was out of service, so like Gate 4, you had to climb quite a few stairs. On our way back, we caught the shuttle bus on the opposite side of the street, which was very convenient. For daily travel, Gate 4 for the subway is perfect. Highly recommend!

The hotel price was really good value. We booked a triple room, and it was quite spacious for Seoul standards. It had a fridge and microwave, which was pretty convenient. It's a bit of a walk from Myeongdong main street, about fifteen minutes. If you walk there, on the way, next to the L7 Hotel, there's a larger 7-Eleven. You HAVE to try the mango smoothie by the checkout counter!!!

The hotel environment is fantastic. It's a two-bedroom apartment with a living room, perfect for four people. The sofa is also large and very comfortable, and can be used as a bed. The hotel is conveniently located near the subway station, making travel easy, and it's also very close to Myeongdong. Highly recommended.

The hotel is super easy to find! Just take subway exit 4 at Chungmuro Station, walk straight until you hit the police station, then turn left down a small street, and it's just a few meters away. You can walk to Myeongdong in about 15 minutes. Plus, the room has a kitchen, which is great for some light cooking.
