Ibis Styles Ambassador Seoul Yongsan - Seoul Dragon City

This was my second stay since my first visit in 2018. This time, I chose this hotel because it was relatively affordable and I had plans to take the KTX from Yongsan Station. It's a clean hotel that offers basic services. If you're looking for a convenient and stress-free stay, this hotel is a good option. Yongsan Station has a mall and is a popular shopping area for Koreans, so it's always been one of my favorite neighborhoods. I would definitely consider staying here again.

The location was so good that I extended my stay for another day. Also, the staff are incredibly friendly, which made me feel great. The view is also excellent as there aren't any tall buildings immediately in front or behind yet.

This is my second stay at this hotel, and it's just as great as I remember. The hotel environment is lovely, and the rooms are clean, tidy, and quite spacious. Housekeeping is done daily. I particularly appreciate the separate shower and toilet, which is very convenient. The hotel's location is fantastic for getting around; you have access to the subway, high-speed rail, and airport shuttle buses. There's even a direct connection from the hotel to the subway and high-speed rail. Plus, there's a large shopping mall and a duty-free shop right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. Highly recommended!

The view from the room was great, and the room itself was clean and convenient. It was also very handy being close to Yongsan Station.

Connected directly to the station, so you can get there without getting wet even in bad weather. It was a really splendid hotel. I accidentally booked a queen room instead of a twin. I'd like to try staying in a twin room next time. However, the hairdryer didn't work, so I couldn't dry my hair. It would work for about 30 seconds, then stop, then I'd turn it on again, and it would work for another 30 seconds and stop again. Since checkout time was approaching, I couldn't even tell the front desk. I gave up with my hair half-dry. I wish they would check their amenities properly. There was almost no space in the room to open a suitcase. It felt disappointing for the price. The design itself was beautiful and flawless. Yongsan Station is also close to Sinyongsan Station, and Sinyongsan Station has more restaurants.

This was my second stay. On the second day, the shower drain was clogged, but it was cleaned and fixed. The room was spacious and the location was good, so I had a comfortable stay.

This hotel was an excellent choice for my long-awaited trip to Seoul. During this stay, I visited a Korean BBQ restaurant about a 10-minute walk from the hotel. I'd seen it on YouTube and was really interested in trying it, and it was delicious! There are some BBQ places in Japan where the portion sizes don't match the price, so eating Korean BBQ in Korea really makes sense. Having a CU convenience store inside the hotel is incredibly convenient for drinks, snacks, and everything else. My room was on the 25th floor, which was great, but the surrounding area had some construction going on, which made the location a bit 'meh'. I couldn't get a twin room this time, so I had a double, but it was perfectly fine. I would definitely choose this hotel again for my next stay in Seoul.
