Hotels Near Olympic Park in Seoul

The hotel is next to Hyundai outlet mall, Doota Mall, DDP, Migliore , convenient if you are into late night shopping. Line card has no expiry date and you can use it for buses, subways , convenience shops. There are restaurants nearby but we didn’t try any on this trip. Note: Most ( may be all?) Korea hotels don’t provide disposable toothbrushes for free anymore( government policy I read some where )

Good location, and there are many restaurants nearby. There is a shuttle bus stop of Incheon airport in front of the hotel. It's very handy that there is a washing machine/dryer in the room. However, it is a pain in the **** that you have to book to use the pool, and you can only book once a day per room. A couple won't always go swimming at the same time. There are only two lifts in the hotel room tower. You have to be patient. The perfume in the lobby was a bit pungent.

The location of Skypark Hotel is very comfortable for the travelers. It’s very close to 2 subway stations and only 7 mins walk from DDP. The room itself was very cosy and nice, but a bit small. There was everything we needed in the room. The beds and pillows were soft and comfortable, and the bathroom was very clean. What about the service though… The man at the front desk was pretty professional, but very cold. He took our passports, quickly pressed some buttons on the electronic kiosk, gave us the paper with the codes, very briefly explained how to use it and send us to the elevator without giving us any time to realize what is happening. Very quick check in and check out. The cleaning lady was very polite, helpful and understanding.

Great location! Lots of food options nearby. Strategically located (Chungmuro Stn) and accessible to all popular locations. Room was clean and spacious. Common pantry in the lobby was a nice touch.

What a great experience for two girls trip! Highly recommend you to take taxi to get to hotel from airport. There is a 3 mins walk from subway but our luggages are huge. We don’t like to drag. The hotel is spacious. Our room is spacious and comfortable. We had a room with balcony. I hope try their breakfast next time.

Location: First of all, it was located in front of the bar of Chungmuro Station, so the accessibility was very good! As soon as I got off the station, it was easy to find because it was right there, and it was easy to move to the subway. In addition, there are many food nearby, so I ordered it to be delivered in the evening. At night, I went out with my friends and played in my favorite bar. 🍻 Room interior, cleanliness: First of all, the room stayed in a room for three people, but it was wider than I thought, so three people went to sleep. It was enough, very neat and clean. There was also a table, so it was easy to eat, and it was okay to bring a laptop and see the work! The bathroom is clean and Netflix is available (you need to use your own ID). There is a washing machine, induction, and sink, so you can cook and wash! (I haven't used it, but,) it was just new and tidy because the bathroom was just built. Is it a little unusual that the sink is on the outside? It wasn't uncomfortable, but it wasn't as noisy as Hongdae or Sinchon. It was nice to be quiet at night, not like a noisy downtown area, but because of its good accessibility and location, it was convenient to use public transportation and places to eat or cafes around. It was nice to have a lot! I stayed with my friends, but I think it would be suitable if you are looking for a place to stay for long-distance business trips or business purposes.. !

The Good Great location. Great location to enjoy Myeongdong street. Night market of Myeongdong is so lively and beautiful and unique experience for Seoul trip. Obviously it feels much safer to stay at hotel nearby. As for hotel, they got nice wine shop at first floor. Their lobby located on low floor and not 1st floor. Although, there is guardman on 1st floor who seems to be reliable. Roof top bar is also in good prices unlike usual ”hotel price”. I stayed at ”low bed” room which seems to be unusual for Korea. It was comfortable and that different experience was fun. The BEST Staff are amazing. I personally think Shilla are in line of Lotte's rivary. (two of top Korean hotel brands) Staffs at this hotel were so amazing. They seemed to have great balance with character. I've seen staff who are sweet and very friendly. While I've also seen staff with sharp and precise manner. Shila staff are professional with more ”trained” manner. Very polite. I have no complain but the friendliness is always more welcome for me. The lady at rooftop bar was a goddess. Not only she was beautiful(excuse me). Her works were very well oriented and professional. Constantly eye checking on the floor, checkin on guests condition and making sure everything is all right, a friendly communication with foreign kids. It was past 11pm and they were about to close if I remember correctly. Unless a five star luxury hotel, at this time of the business, staff are chatting, ready to set free from work. No, not at all. They acted as if they just opened the bar. I really felt strange. The Bad Breakfast is operated by a tenant restaurant. So totally different experience. It kinda breaks the whole experience of hotel and basically, it's tenant restaurant so they won't treat you like hotel guest. They are polite but can't response anything to do with hotel. If you've travelled Korea or Seould before, I beleive there are no stress. but if you are first timer, there could be more helpful service for foreigner, easier access, easier location etc. There are so many different hotels in Myeongdong so I can't give comparison. Although, it's Korean brand and I believe it worth a stay.

The hotel is situated in the Myeongdong shopping district but it is not right in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. It sits just outside of the main shopping/night market area so it is not noisy at all. There is a 7-Eleven at the hotel basement so you can get all your toiletries and snacks there. The hotel does not provide dental kits so be sure to bring your own or buy from the convenience store downstairs. Hotel staff can speak English and one lady in particular speaks Mandarin and English. She was very helpful and friendly. Another staff helped to arrange our two rooms on the same floor when he realised that one of the rooms wasn’t ready and was on another floor. We had a triple room which is quite spacious considering most rooms in Myeongdong hotels are rather small and you can barely open up your luggage. Our room has space for our 3 pieces of luggage in front of the beds. The room is big enough to accommodate two lounge chairs and a coffee table. The bathroom has a bathtub and the toilet has a bidet so it makes up for the dated look of the whole room. We had some of our meals in the restaurants just across the road from the hotel and they serve nice Korean cuisine. The Euljiro 1-ga station is just a few minutes’ walk away. We really like the location of the hotel even though the room is a bit dated, especially the bathroom.

The location is very strategic, super close to subway station line 2 and 4, and bus stop. Myeongdong main street is just 5 minutes walking distance but the most important is, the hotel is very clean and nice. The room can be a bit small and suffocating, but the room is clean and neat.

Good location just right next to the main myeongdong area. Hotel is nearer to Euljiro il ga station than Myeongdong Station (~3min vs 8 min walk away). Sound proofing is bad as we could frequently hear the people next to us talking - including the sound of them trying to plug a power point by their bedside in the wee hours. Hotel reception service is good and includes a luggage weighing machine.
