I met a lot of good people all around the world and also Koreans. This guesthouse is close to the subway station and the bus stop. So it is easy to get around (Seoul is good for transportation). All the staff here are nice. Good and easy breakfast in the morning. Every bed has is locker and enough space for your stuff! Laundry and dryer you can do it for very cheap! Can't explain how beautiful is the view from the rooftop. Thanks guys for making my stay happier!

Absolutely not the type of room you want to live in. Once you enter the door, there is a small space and a small toilet! First, there is only a small table, and everything must be placed on the floor The second toilet also only has a sink and there is no way to put things The third sleep has to walk through a corridor that is 3-4 meters long The fourth bed is convenient and there is no place to put things Fifth, I stayed in January 2023. There was a window smaller than my head at the head of the bed. At that time, it was snowing and the wind kept blowing in, so cold to death🥶! Sixth can't see anything out of the window! ! I encountered the loveliest staff ever. They were all so friendly and helpful form checking in, recommendations for tourist areas, restaurants, street food and travel. They had full knowledge of local and touristy areas, and always went the extra mile, and made sure I had the right directions there and back. The main receptionist, Yeosong, speaks English, Korean and Chinese, I was impressed and felt even better after she remained in contact with me until my departure since I had roaming service issues. I was blown away by their hospitality and making you feel comfortable, a great first impression. It's a cozy hostel and cafe, so I felt nice to even sit and talk with the staff and being so attentive towards everyone. The manager is great and also involved in everything, you can tell they're all a great team. The hostel is very close to the city center, if not down the corner. The facilities are very clean and was constantly checked up on. Seoul Cube is a really nice place to stay, if not the best place to stay, especially in Itaewon. The breakfast is really good, and they had a variety at that, from sandwiches, to eggs and toast with water or coffee. They play movies in the evening in the cafe area, which everyone can just sit and enjoy, a plus because I got to meet so many people. I also liked that there's doors that require passcodes in order to access the hostel, your area and the room you're staying in. It made me feel extra safe and more privacy within the hostel.

The location of the hotel is in Itaewon. There are shops for foreigners. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel. There is a convenience store in Cu. It is very convenient to take subway line 6 and walk about 500 meters. There is a middle school nearby that is easy to find because we prefer pears. The environment here in Taiyuan is so lively that I chose this place in time for Christmas. There are many bars and clubs around here that I like to play. It is a good choice. Most of the houses in South Korea are built on the mountainside, and the hotel is also a slope but it is acceptable because most of the houses in South Korea are like this. The interior of the hotel is relatively small. Our room is on the third floor and the third floor. There are three double rooms on the third floor. It will be hot and cold and needs to be adjusted well, clean and clean. The boss is very good and speaks English all the time because the boss is not Korean. If I go to Itaewon next time, I will stay here again. The location is very convenient. It is also close to the airport bus and the subway. The boss has lived in Yiwu, Zhejiang, China for a year. The place was easily accessible via train, just a short walk from Samgakji station (exit 1 or 13). It's also close to the airport bus stop that takes you directly to Incheon Airport - very convenient. It also has a nearby convenience store, and is surrounded by a lot of restaurants and cafes so you won't have to worry about where to get lunch or breakfast. Most of the guests I've met there are quite friendly and will give you tips on what to do if it's your first time in the city. They also have a kitchen in the 3rd floor so you can cook your own meals if you feel like it. We sadly didn't get a chance to see the rooftop and the upper floors because we were so tired by the time we returned. The main floor of the guesthouse is on the 2nd floor, including the reception desk, and you have to climb a steep set of stairs to get there which proved quite challenging when most of their guests are carrying huge luggages - no handrails btw, so you have to be careful. I was carrying a collective weight of 20kgs when I first arrived and had to get help from Johnny as it was impossible for me to do it myself. With its popularity among travelers comes the obvious problem of it being fully packed with people, which can get chaotic when everybody wants to use the showers at once. The place is a little small and there wasn't a lot of room to move around in once all the guests arrive and are buzzing about.

Seriously the greatest place EVER! Detailed review incoming so buckle up. 😎 First time in Seoul 2nd time in Korea. 1. Reception 5/5 Upon arrival, our host John laid out the red carpet for my brother and I. He showed us our rooms, bathroom options, living room, kitchen and laundry in an efficient and detailed manner. I was blown away at all the amenities we had access to. We felt so at home! Because everything was provided we didn't have to buy any toiletries for our entire stay! 2. First night and morning 5/5 The bedding and sheets are SUPER COMFORTABLE! I wish we had gotten the larger more spacious beds but we got lucky cuz we got the last room available for the day we arrived so we weren't complaining. The AC is so nice especially since it was summer so Korea was hot when we arrived and the AC kept us nice and cool! Our rooms had plenty of space for our baggings and should we run out of space there is an additional luggage storage room (but we didn't utilize it since we pack light). Waking up was a treat because there is FREE BREAKFAST in the kitchen livingroom area from 7-10a. We have access to an assortment of foods and juices and should you feel the need to bring additional food to store in the fridge for to use for breakfast it's all good. Not to mention their espresso machine is the GOAT !!! I probably survived Korea cuz of the espresso machine alone hahaha. (It grinds fresh beans which means fresh and clean energy ALL DAY! Additionally, breakfast time is the best time to mingle with the other guest house residents. I met people from Mongolia Japan Ethiopia France and China, and they were all amazing. 3. Accommodations 5/5 This is by far the best part of Aroha. Our 6 days in Seoul wouldn't have been the same without John. He went out of his way to accommodate and show us what Seoul was all about. This guy is the go to, the hype man, the big tuna!!! Without John I dont think I wouldn't have had the best time that I had. His recommendations on places to go and sights to see are on point. He knows his stuff and being so traveled and cultured he is most definitely someone that ANYONE would like. Please please please show this guy some love ! You wont regret it! Thanks again John! Hats off to you. For making our time in Seoul and Aroha unforgettable. 4. Check Out and Check in (sorry I didn't put this in #1) 5/5 The check in and check out process is easy as pie. The hardest part is bringing yourself to leave because you're so at home by the time its date of departure. But again John doesn't fail to subvert expectations. Let him know how you'll be leaving at what time and he will show you best and easiest way home. We thought we would be late to airport or have to take a bothersome taxi but John saved the day. Again this place is a hidden gem. Anyone considering Aroha will not regret. Again a BIG THANKS from the Raza Family John. You're simply the best there is.

The staff at the counter were really warm! 4 ladies shared the same dormitory and 1 shower room. There is only 1 hairdryer in the room to go around, I can’t help but to feel a little conscious if I were to use the hairdryer at night it might disturb my room mates. Breakfast every morning were in the common area with white toast and eggs (you have to fry it yourself and wash dishes yourself), coffee, juice and milk are also provided with cornflakes I think that’s nice. Because Itaewon is on Line 6, going around to the more tourist areas are slightly difficult, but I loved it because there is a straight bus to Sinsa and Gangnam. Laundry room is also free and good! It takes roughly 2h~ to finish washing and drying clothes (if you use the speed wash mode). The bed was very clean and very spacious, side power plug and hook basket for your common items like phone and wallet is great! Usually I would not stay capsules or hostels for more than 1 night, but I stayed here for 3 days 2 nights, it’s one of the best hostel that I wouldn’t mind staying more than a night. Would definitely considering coming back.

Booked this place for the location near to Seoul Station if one need to walk. Johnny was very flexible with us and allowed us to put our stuff even though we were out of Seoul. We could store our luggage even when we made 2 trips out of Seoul Certainly will consider this guesthouse again Bonus was we found a very nice place to eat and 2 mins away from Dalgona.. very affordable at 7,000 ₩
