We loved our stay at Kati Kati! The large bed was comfortable and with sink, toilet and “talking” bucket shower full of lovely warm water, a lantern, large flashlight and whistle, our “tent” felt quite luxurious. The setting was peaceful and scenic. The wifi and charging station at the dining tent worked very well. The meals were varied and delicious. We were amazed at what the cooks provided. The box lunch buffet offered a very good variety of foods for us to take on the road with us. Above all, the staff members without exception were warm, friendly and hospitable, always greeting us with huge smiles and eager to help in any way.

One of the best experiences we've ever had, but not the fainthearted (if you're scared of lions roaring). We stayed here for two nights on our honeymoon in January 2024 and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was fantastic. All the staff were incredibly friendly. The food was amazing and the tents exceeded our expectations. Expect to see hyenas whilst having a beer watching the sunset and her lions roaring at night. You feel completely safe whilst you're there and you will see the most unbelievable star gazing I think I've ever seen!

This is a very unique experience and without a tented stay overnight at the Serengeti its impossible to immerse oneself in the “Safari” experience . Its not entirely basic as the usual wilderness camping nor is it a luxury stay. There are flushing toilets ,beds, lights, a bucket shower and even wi fi ( yes that too:). However it does get pretty cold at night and there will be bugs so just come a little mentally prepared. The staff however go above and beyond to make the stay as comfortable as possible. Jacob the manager when we stayed was so kind and thoughtful. Would definitely recommend 1-2 nights

It's probably my all-time favourite camp, simple , a feeling from out of Africa. Very kind and attentive staff. Definitely would stay here again, we stayed two nights, but I could have stayed longer. Not the most luxurious camp, but it is tremendously authentic . Highly recommend to stay here!

Kati Kati Tented Camp is in the middle of Serengeti National Park. It is consisted of tented cabins but they are all sturdy and "semi mobile" meaning they are well set up and, if you zip up tent well, not much worry about invasion of animals, insects etc. Break fas, lunch (if needed boxed lunch) and dinner are provided and are of very good quality, considering the environment. You can also buy beers and wines. Tents have showers with wash-basins, en-suit bathroom and shower. For the shower, you need to tell the supporting staff when you will take it so that they can carry 20 lt hot water for you in a bucket. 20L was enough for quick showers. As there is no sense around the camps, we managed to see Hyenas and a Giraffe while having dinner, breakfast etc. as well. After dark, you need to be escorted by a camp staffs between your tent and the main dining tent. Also, charging station is not in your tent but the camp provides one in the dining tent, so that you can charge. Very relaxing, in the middle of Serengeti. Highly recommended.

This camp was awesome. The staff Mr David and Johnno were so friendly. The food was awesome and accommodation spotless. Staying here was the highlight of our safari with Leopard Tours. Loved the bucket showers. The ambience and serenity was an unforgettable experience. My husband, Mr Geoff wanted to work there too.

Kati Kati Tented Camp was our base for two nights in the Serengeti. Tents were nice but there was no charging of electronics in the tents which was more of a nuisance. We also had to hand in all food and snacks because animals will smell the food. This was the only camp where this was done. We got it all back on our departure. The bucket shower was a novelty and although a bit of a nuisance it is a part of the adventure. To wake of an see hundreds of wildebeests about 50 metres from your tent was the highlight of the stay.

A great place to base yourselves in the Serengeti, as you are really in the park, with not much between you and the animals (don't worry, the rangers will protect you!). Lovely staff, with a great sense of humour. Brillant 'bush TV', nice food, and great tents. You really do feel - more than other places - in the wild.

Such an incredible experience! We stayed in a variety of accommodation on our trip from 5 star luxury to tented camps and this place was one of the highlights! The staff were friendly and the facilities were great considering you are in the middle of a national park! Falling asleep and waking up to sound of lions roaring and 1000s of wildebeest groaning will be something we never forget! You really feel connected to it all here and it’s also such a comfortable camp. Nice big bed, private toilet and the bucket shower was surprisingly nice (great temperature and pressure), although you do need to be efficient with you washing haha! The camp fire was lovely and the drinks were very cheap! To top it off, we witnessed the wildebeest river crossing on the afternoon we arrived. Another experience we will never forget!
