Stayed here with my elderly mum and my cousin, passing on our way to the South of France. Absolutely loved the old fashioned and historic atmosphere of an old provincial house. Decorated as if an elderly aristocratic lady had just left. We had two rooms on a private corridor on the top floor floor with a shared bathroom with modern shower. My mum’s double room was done up as an attic sitting room with old wallpapers and antiques. My cousin and I shared a sweet twin room. Great rooftop views of Richelieu towards the park. Breakfast of coffee bread and jam in grand ground floor dining room. So much to look at while you eat. Highly recommended if you like historic building vibe. Owner has done a wonderful job preserving the atmosphere of the house. She gave us a fascinating tour of the building. We loved it! This is not for you if you want a modern, all modcons hotel though!
