We had a delightful stay at Kombo Beach Hotel, having made our booking through The Gambia Experience for a week. The hotel's general manager and all the staff were exceptionally friendly, making us feel very welcome. A highlight of our stay was the food; as vegetarians, we were particularly impressed with Chef Shankar, who prepared delicious, homemade-style Indian meals for us. The inclusive drinks were satisfactory, though they were local brands, and their taste varied. We extend our gratitude to Emma, who facilitated our visit to a local school where we distributed stationery, notebooks, and chocolates. We stayed in Block A, having paid extra for a sea-view room. The rooms were spacious, albeit a little dated. The pool area was quite lovely, and the animation team offered a wide array of activities. The presence of security guards at the beach provided a sense of safety from local vendors. Overall, it was a great holiday.

Myself & husband visited Kombo Beach & Gambia for the first time for 10 nights Nov 2025. Firstly I’d like to say how hard working every member of staff is, each one always greeting you with a smile & offer assistance if needed. From reception, to room attendants, restaurant staff, everyone a credit to the manager. We chose to stay in a deluxe sea view suite room 343 - two large balconies over looking the beach, we were in block C. Lovely, very spacious rooms, adequate bathroom very satisfied. Air conditioning very good. Food in buffet restaurant very nice. Always had a lovely meal every day. Pool area kept clean, pool absolutely perfect. Not too busy. Again lots of attendants to help you if needed. Beach is beautiful and again kept so clean. Evening entertainment I particularly enjoyed, especially the bands / singers. We often went out for a few evenings to the “*****” which was a short taxi ride away. Plenty of trips and things to visit in Gambia. Definitely safe enough to venture out & explore. We shall be definitely returning thank you to all staff at Kombo for a wonderful holiday.

The location of the kombo beach resort couldn't be closer to the beach,but only a short taxi to the bustle of the busy nightlife area...the hotel itself is the most beautiful place and full of wonderful friendly staff and management, they all work tirelessly to make sure each and every guest is happy and having an amazing time,they hold regular African themed entertainment and the food is second to none...there is an incredible fully equipped gym and plenty of free sunbeds around the pools and on the beach...we personally wouldn't stay anywhere else, it would be virtually impossible not to fall in love with the kombo beach hotel and all their wonderful staff❤️❤️❤️

It was our first time at Kombo beach and our first time in Africa! We didn't know what to expect but the hotel was very good, very clean, and the people who working the are all AMAZING!!!! So friendly! The food is also very good, the people working in the hotel do hard work!! Every evening there is an act, a music group that comes to play. The next time we come back to Gambia we definitly book the same hotel! 10/10!! Keep up the good work, Kombo beach. See you guy's later!

This resort was one of the best holiday experiences so far. The all inclusive food was truly amazing. There was a variety of fresh Western and traditional African food. The personnel are the kindest people you can imagine and they are willing to help and please you above expectations. The rooms are good with good air-conditioning 24/7. During the day we could chill near the pool or beach or join one of the many sportive activities that are organized by the hotel's entertainment team.

It was okay this is our second time booking kombo but we came back because of our amazing housekeeper Adama faye we had to make sure we booked the same rooms as last year just so she can look after us, she is well organised and welcoming and does her work with positive attitude
