Badala Park Hotel Photos

10 day stay 9th March Having gone to the Gambia for the last 20 years we thought we had seen everything and read everything there is to know about Gambia. We have stayed at the Kombo for the last six visits until the renovations so this time we went to the Badala Hotel. We looked at the reviews which wasn’t the best to say the least. First impression Rooms defiantly in need of renovation settled for 3rd room shown. Beds were clean which was a must for us. Rooms were cleaned every day, clean towels every day. Grounds. Again, in need of a tidy. Staff. I have to say the staff was very helpful, breakfast staff was very good and tried their best. Pool The pool wasn’t the best but did the job. Food. Can only comment on food we had. Reviews about only 1 egg for breakfast was wrong, we had, scrambled egg or fried egg with mushroom, baked beans and sausage with toast. Which was very good. Evening meal was steak with pepper sauce and chips again very good. The hotel was quiet and relaxing and the result was we had a lovely stay and would have no hesitation in booking again.
