If you want to see the real outback, what is the place! Lovely staff, good breakfast and dinner, a waterhole, you can watch the wildlife from your bed. If you expect a Grandhotel, you are wrong. To get an impression of living on an outback-farm, you will enjoy your stay. The rooms are clean, you will like the pool and restaurant and the owners are sooo kind. So, we would love to come back one day. Regards, Susanne & Detlef (Germany)

Beautiful little lodge in the middle of nowhere, ideal as a base for exploring the wonders of the dunes around Sesriem, Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, etc. Just 18 simple but comfortable rooms, with a pretty pool, gardens, etc, but you are still right out in the desert, and can walk straight from your room out into the scrubland and thorn trees in the shadow of the rocky Naukluft mountains. The food was good, especially for so isolated a place, using local game, and they coped with vegetarians no problem. Good packed breafasts are alsol available for early morning starts. The staff and the owners are very friendly and personable. There is a well-stocked "honesty bar" where you pay for your drinks at the end of your stay. There is WiFi in the restaurant/bar, but not in the rooms, so you can easily forget the troubles of the world here. Lovely, friendly little place, an oasis in the Namib Desert.

Will go again. From the moment we got out of the car we felt welcomed and cared for. Food was fabulous. Loads of space and seating to hang out in the afternoon after a game drive. The beds were very comfortable. Plenty space for everything. The pool area was cute, and we enjoyed an icy dip every day.

This farm is an interesting place to visit the Dunes. The owner is friendly and they prepare a breakfast box for those who want to check out early in the morning. The equipments are not modern and the bedroom should be refresh, but it's confortable and quiet. The diner is good.

This is also a marvelous destination if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of Sussenheim or Sesriem, but still be near enough to these places to easily visit them. The rooms and food are excellent. there is a drinking place for the wild animals with a light and it is excellent situated to watch these animals coming in to drink during the night hours.

The Campsites are well kept and the abolitions are clean but if you get site 3 or 4 you are up for serious heat with no shade. Camp 1 and 2 have nice trees that give ample shade but on site 3 and 4 there is no shelter other than a tree that provides no shade. The power plugs are far away and unless you bring long cables won’t reach to keep your fridge alive in the heat. There is WIFI at the bar area only. The spot would be nice if they would do a little work to provide some shelter during the day.

The lodge is a convenient short drive to soussevlei and lovely and remote. Rooms are large with balconies where you can sit and watch the sunset and bird life. Food is great and they catered well for vegetarians and provided a packed breakfast to allow for an early start.

This lodge is in the middle of the desert and has been set up as an oasis. There are lovely gardens and eating areas. The lodges are all the same and functional. Our lodge had a lovely sunset view. The lodges were clean with hot water. There is a honesty system for the bar and gifts. The service was friendly. The rate includes breakfast and dinner so keep this in mind. Only detraction is that the wifi is poor.
