Our first trip to Sestri Levante. We wanted to give our kids the full *Wow Factor* and make sure that their trip to Italy included plenty of beach time. The direct access to the sea was wonderful. A bit abrupt, though, was finding out from the lifeguard that our name & room number were not on the approved list for an umbrella/beach chair. Literally, we were told "The beach is not for you." Checked with the hotel staff, and apparently booking the hotel through a travel agent (AAA/AMA) does not include a spot on the hotel's private beach :( That costs an extra $50 E/day. This seems silly, considering we had already paid over $2,000 CAD for two nights stay. In the end, we opted not to pay the extra $50 E/day and instead bought a beach towel at a tourist shop and shared it between all the family, then walked down to the beach and just swam, looked for beach glass, and did not rest on the loungers. Aside from that odd glitch, our stay was lovely. The shower was nice, the room was clean, our kids were wowed by the two-floor oceanview suite and the gorgeous view from the rooftop terrace. The staff were helpful and kind and there was lovely shopping nearby.

We were lucky enough to stay in the suite with an amazing sea view. The room is very nice and quiet. The breakfast was rich and plentiful in both sweet and savory options. The staff were really friendly and professional given that, despite the off-season, we also had the opportunity to take advantage of the umbrella and sunbeds. 5 stars deserved

We had a really good time, the staff was very kind (also and especially with our 10 month old baby) they gave us a free room upgrade which we know is always very welcome. The room is very clean, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed, additional pillows available. The structure is elegant, quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful and at flexible times. They even granted us a late check out at no extra charge. Excellent value for money. We will certainly return and recommend it to all the people who ask us! well done! Soon.

Second time staying here, together with my 6 year old. We spent 19 wonderful days, everything excellent: elegant and well-kept structure; spacious room; very kind and helpful staff; exceptional beach service, with adequate spaces (a rarity in Liguria) and attentive and helpful lifeguards. The restaurant is excellent, the food is very good and with a superb view of the gulf, probably the best location in Sestri to enjoy a beautiful sunset while having dinner. We will definitely return, hoping to find availability because the Suite Nettuno is always full and you have to book in advance.

Spacious room with sea and waterfront view equipped with every comfort. The large private beach is well looked after and adjacent to the hotel. Excellent cuisine. It is possible to eat on the large terrace from where in the evening you can see beautiful sunsets over the Gulf of Tigullio. The staff is very kind and always available.

Excellent charming and luxury hotel in a historic palace. We stayed in two suites that had a magnificent view of the sea and the bay of Sestri Levante. The suites were clean and decorated in the original style of the palace (early 20th century palace) The restaurant has a terrace overlooking the beach, with a magnificent view of the sea. We appreciated the availability and courtesy of the staff. Direct access to the beach, deck chair included in the room price. Very good stay, to do it again! Luxurious hotel in a historic building from the beginning of the 20th century. We spent the night in two suites with a spectacular view of the fairy tale bay. The suites were clean and decorated in the original style of the building. The restaurant has a terrace with a spectacular view of the bay. Very kind staff and attentive to our requests. The hotel has direct access to the beach. It was a nice two-day stay of which my family and I would keep a good memory. We want to come back!
