The receptionist and breakfast server are responsive and attentive. Thank you for this relaxing stay in this beautiful region."

"It was about 2 years ago since we were here last. A few things have improved but the rooms we stayed this time had no airco and for Portugal room without airco in the summer I can tell you it’s terrible to sleep. The breakfast is good, the service is good everybody is really friendly and helpful but the hotel really needs an urgent renovation. Attached picture is what you look at at breakfast could for sure use an urgent tlc"

"Lovely hotel 25 minutes away from Lisbon. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating upon arrival. While there is no lunch offer onsite, I was recommended a traditional Portuguese restaurant 3min away by foot. The room was bright and clean - even if not the most modern, it was charming and had everything necessary. Breakfast table was well-furnished with some Portuguese delicacy as well as continental ones."

"We were warmly welcomed by the owner Sara and truly enjoyed our stay. The rooms are spacious with artistic contemporary decor as well as outdoor patio spaces we enjoyed. We also immediately clicked with Cristina who was always gracious with local tips and advice as well as preparing daily breakfasts. We slept comfortably and it was surprisingly quiet overnight for a city location. There is metered parking out front along its Main Street. Just be sure to insert a few coins for the daytime. Sara and Cristina and 34 GuestHouse really made our Setubal visit very special!"

"We had dinner only . The dining terrace was located at the rear of the property overlooking Arrabida mountains and open countryside ,it provided a superb location in what appeared to be a very comfortable and elegant hotel. The food however was a great disappointment, grossly expensive, poorly prepared and too much theatre. The mixture of flavours was strange and totally unnecessary . What is wrong with serving well prepared quality ingredients without the need to hide behind pompous flavour screens. They could not even deliver a simple rare fillet steak."
