"We stayed in Sunrise apartments in the beginning of June. First of all I'd like to say a huge thank you to Nicko and Tonya, the hotel manager and his wife. They are amazing people,very welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They made us feel at home during our stay. The hotel itself is located on a hill, but that's what gives you the best view of sunset and sunrise. They have a beautiful rooftop terrace with sunbeds, umbrellas, tables and chairs. It's a Beautiful spot with sea and mountain views to watch the sunset and have dinner in a relaxing atmosphere. The room was very clean and spacious with everything you needed and it was cleaned 4 times during our stay(10 days). All bedding and towels changed every time they cleaned the room. The cleaner was amazing too. She did such a great job. The pool was very clean and very pleasant, the water check was done by Nicko daily. Plenty of sunbeds around the pool. The hotel was approximately a 10 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minutes walk to the supermarket, which was quite good and had everything we needed. Restaurants and taverns are all located within walking distance,but if you want to rent a car or scooter, Nicko will help you with that too. He is very approachable and helpful. We were very happy with our choice of accommodation and highly recommend Sunrise apartments to other guests. Thank you Nicko for everything you have done for us and put up with us all 10 days and made our Crete experience unforgettable."

"Very friendly they couldn't do enough for there guests ,I asked for a bigger room which was done straight away without any problems, I also didn't have a kettle iny room ,I asked for one ,this was also taken care of promptly. food was very nice , cooked fresh every evening had good 3 courseeal every evening also good selection for breakfast, Pool bar was also open which was great for drinks round the pool and lunch Great place to relax and chill out on holiday"

"We were from 14.07. to 31.07. 2024 at Mr. Andreas. We had a apartment for 4 people with roof terrace and very beautiful view of the sea. In addition, in a room balcony for 4 people. The rooms will be every 2. Day cleaned and all 3-4 Day fresh bed linen and towels. Toilet paper and shower gel were also there. The pool was very well maintained and was cleaned every day, beds and hanging mats were sufficiently available. To the beach 2 minutes, you could take home beds and screens to the beach. Beach itself was ok, sandy, some sea grass, at the water edge about 3 meters of silk then sand; in sensitive footschools we recommend swimming shoes. Very few people on the beach, the sea was very clean, clear and smooth in the morning. The establishment itself was useful, there was a nice barbecue, we had it 4-5 times in use. In the surrounding area some good restaurants and supermarket and bakery are accessible to foot.In long stay a rental car is safely of advantage (also to explore Crete) Mr Andreas was super friendly and pre-coming, have made recommendations and made our stay as pleasant as possible. "Exceeded our expectations. Beautiful, spacious and well-equipped apartment, which never got too hot, even when it was hitting 40degrees outside. We even had a real lemon tree growing outside our bedroom window! The hotel itself is beautiful and well-equipped, with a lovely outdoor pool and bar area. There's also a well-stocked supermarket nearby, and a lovely little restaurant at the bottom of the hill that's also well worth a visit. This was our teenage son's first holiday outside of the UK, and we timed it to fall in the week of his nineteenth birthday. He was a little apprehensive about the culture changes, but it was the best introduction to a holiday abroad he could possibly have had, and he's well up for coming back again next year, to see everything we didn't get a chance to see this time."

"Of course, if you only judge by the photos and the location, it can be a dream: a hotel with a swimming pool facing the sea, the beach at your feet, the dream. Except that.... In reality, we were disappointed even before entering the establishment which is also located in a lifeless and uninteresting neighborhood: the surroundings are similar to a public dump, piles of garbage all around, wouldn't it occur to them to clean it up? Then, our impression is confirmed. This hotel is poorly maintained, it's dirty, the chairs are damaged, the swimming pool is not clean, the "private" beach cleaned in a hurry while emptying the rake... 10 meters further. They don't clean, they move it! As for the food, don't expect to enjoy it! In a self-service "canteen" type system, you always find the same thing in the stainless steel containers, and it's not really good! Breakfasts are just a bad time to get through... So, we left a day earlier than planned, very disappointed!"

"Great location for vacation. Very friendly personnel, only professionalists and people with smile on face. What could be improved? Hotel should respect they own rules and dont gives possibility to blocked or reserved places on the beach. This generate problem when you want to go there and most of places was blocked without people - only towels are there.... All the rest are on highest possible level, especially both bars on beach - frappe was the best one in Greece"
