The hotel is located on the top of a mountain in a remote village. The scenery is beautiful, with mountains and forests in the distance and rivers nearby. The front desk service is also very good, and they will take the initiative to help you carry your luggage. The room was very compact and there was no room to walk after putting the luggage on the floor. The hotel’s breakfast doesn’t start until nine o’clock. I left before it started, and most people didn’t wait until it started either. In fact, you know these tricks of businesses. The hotel is located in a very remote area, so you must drive up the mountain during the day, and the road up the mountain is all *stone gravel road.

The place is beautiful. Mountains, the sound of the river, the ringing of tsikata. You can sit in the gazebos located on the hotel grounds. You can also order food and tea there. The food is delicious. Only the choice was not very large, since many things from the assortment offered on the menu were not available. But what came was delicious. The hotel rooms were disappointing. Everything was quite old. The door to the toilet did not close. We asked for an additional folding bed for the child. The folding bed turned out to be terribly uncomfortable, the crossbar in the middle dug into my back. I had to sleep on it myself for 2 nights. The bed linen was quite worn and washed out. There were stains on the pillowcase. We asked for a replacement, they brought an unstained, but generally yellowed (from old age, apparently). pillowcase. The hair dryer in the toilet was dirty, greasy and sticky. We could not even touch it. The water pressure was very poor. The water was warm, sometimes it became suddenly cold. Not all windows have screens (but you can live with it). (Apparently, if someone in the next room turned on the water at the same time). The plug of the night light burned out in the socket itself, the bedside night light did not work in both rooms. You have to open the trash cans by hand. The pedals do not work. Breakfast: the first day was a buffet. The next day, since there were less than 25 guests (as we were told), they tried to SELL us sweets that were free the day before. We had to make a fuss. In general, the staff is very polite. Only the waiter who served on the morning of July 6 was rude. In general: we will not come here again.

A wonderful hotel 30 minutes drive from Sheki. You can get there by taxi for 9-10 AZN. I recommend using Bolt, but the hotel staff will help you, because the service is not available on site. What awaits you? A delicious and hearty breakfast made from local products, I would especially like to note "kyukyu" (egg pancakes with herbs) and "pomidor yumurta" (eggs with tomato). You should definitely try the local dessert "okra". You won't be able to tear yourself away. You definitely won't go hungry. In the evening, in the open-air restaurant gazebos, enjoy the stunning mountain views and excellent local cuisine from chef Korkhmas (aka Gosha): Sheki piti, shah-plov, saj and much more. Somewhere below, the Kyungutchay River boils. Go down to its foot and walk along the dry riverbed. You may even meet a herd of cows from a neighboring village. There is a small pool on the territory, filled with clean spring water. Yes, its temperature is lower than usual, but it is a special pleasure to dive into the coolness, basking in the sun. The standard room is quite spacious. Every day you are given 2 bottles of drinking water. Keep in mind that there is no safe or refrigerator in the room. If you need to save food, you can contact the main administrator Perviz, he will help you solve any issues (for example, ordering a taxi). Be sure to go to the ancient city of Sheki, where you can see the famous khan's palace, caravanserai and Albanian church, built at the beginning of the millennium. Come to the hotel if you want peace and tranquility. Everything here contributes to a leisurely rest without fuss.
