For a stay on the grasslands, this was a decent accommodation. The bedding felt relatively clean, and they even provided disposable towels."

"Shandan Horse Farm is really very beautiful. It was very cool when we came here for horseback riding, so we had to wear a coat. The boss was very nice. He told us the tour route, explained the history of the horse farm to us, and helped us take beautiful photos. The food was also very delicious. I highly recommend it!"

"During summer vacation, we took our children to visit the Hexi Corridor. Our last stop was the Shandan Military Horse Farm in Zhangye. We chose to stay at the Xingxiu Hotel, which opened in 2024. The accommodation was very good and close to the scenic area, just a few minutes' walk away. Unfortunately, the weather was not good. It was raining continuously and the temperature dropped sharply. We rented a windbreaker from the hotel. The landlady was very kind and let us wear it to the station on the day we checked out, and then the driver took it back with us. This prevented us from catching a cold."

"The hotel is right next to the high-speed rail station, with convenient parking. It's about a 20-minute drive from the Second Military Horse Farm. The front desk was welcoming, the room was clean, and the bedding was new. There's a restaurant downstairs that serves home-style cuisine, making it a great value overall. The only downside was that the two pillows were a bit soft, so I'd recommend replacing them with one firm and one soft. The rapeseed blossoms along the way to the horse farm were beautiful!"

The room had an electric heater and an electric blanket on the bed, so it was really warm inside, especially since it was cold outside. It was great! I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends."
