I focused on taking pictures of the food. The breakfast was quite rich, and they also offered complimentary afternoon tea and a late-night snack when we checked in. We weren't expecting much from the hotel, so this level of service made us very satisfied. The toiletries were great: a Dyson hairdryer and Natura Bissé products. All very pleasing, and the wet/dry separation in the bathroom was well done. However, my room's bathroom didn't have a sliding door, so it felt a bit cold when I stepped out of the shower cubicle. At first glance, the overall cleanliness of the room was satisfactory, but a closer look revealed areas that could be improved. The staff were always friendly and greeted us with a smile whenever we passed them in the hallway. Overall, I was very satisfied and would consider staying here again on my next visit.

Everything was wonderful. The hotel's location is ideal—close to two metro stations and two lively streets, which made getting around very easy. Our room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped for a relaxing stay. The staff was very attentive and friendly, and the breakfast offered a great selection of tasty options. One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything was exceptionally clean, cozy and welcoming, with a very homely atmosphere. The service was excellent and the staff were genuinely helpful. A lovely bonus was the afternoon tea with delicious treats, and in the evening they served what they called “late snacks” — but it was actually a full dinner! Such a nice surprise after a long day. And the pillows deserve a special mention — they were so good that I actually left the hotel having bought one for myself! The staff also kindly helped arrange the delivery of my luggage to another hotel, which was incredibly helpful. This was especially appreciated because another hotel on my trip refused to help with the same request. Overall, a wonderful experience. I would happily stay here again.

Had a fantastic stay at Atour! The location is great, really close to the subway, making my commute super efficient. The room was spacious and clean, with plenty of desk space for working. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the hot water was consistently reliable. The staff were very responsive, always there when I needed something. I loved the 24-hour library; it was a quiet spot perfect for relaxing. The self-service laundry and dryer were a lifesaver, making travel much easier. Plus, the breakfast had a great variety. Overall, it was a quiet and comfortable experience. My partner and I were in town for the WAIC conference, and the location was excellent. It was a quick taxi ride to the Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center.

Shanghai Nanjing East Road Atour Hotel – A New Opening Experience I recently stayed at the newly opened Atour Hotel, and my overall experience was excellent. The location is truly prime for tourists, situated right in the heart of the city, adjacent to the core Nanjing East Road commercial area. Stepping out, you can immediately explore old Shanghai's distinctive cuisine, go shopping, and easily access attractions. For travelers, the location advantage is simply unparalleled. However, the hotel's entrance design might be a bit surprising for business travelers. The hotel is located on the 8th floor of the Landmark Plaza, and the street-level lobby entrance is next to a popular silver jewelry store. During the day, there's a heavy flow of people, making the overall environment quite crowded. First-time visitors might find it a stark contrast to the usual quiet ambiance of a typical hotel entrance, which is a rather unique little detail. I stayed in a standard king room, which was spacious, bright, and well-arranged, offering good living comfort. Although the room didn't have an exterior street view, it cleverly incorporated an indoor artificial mini-garden, effectively compensating for the lack of outdoor scenery – a very ingenious design. As always, the bedding was of Atour's high-quality standard. The Atour Planet pillows and dedicated linens were soft, skin-friendly, and provided just the right amount of support, making for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable sleep experience. All the facilities and equipment were brand new, in perfect condition, and very well-maintained. The most impressive aspect was the front desk service. The staff handling check-in and check-out were gentle, friendly, responsive, and meticulously attentive. The entire experience was very pleasant.

Before my recent trip to Shanghai Qiantan, I stayed at the Atour Hotel Jianye near the Oriental Sports Center. It just opened in 2026, and I was a bit worried about a new-decor smell, but there was absolutely none, which means the ventilation is excellent. I felt comfortable bringing my child along. The location is genuinely convenient. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Oriental Sports Center subway station, and Qiantan Taikoo Li is within walking distance, saving a lot of time for dining and shopping. Ordering takeout was also super smooth, with robots delivering directly to the room door. The room was clean and had all the necessary amenities. Atour's bedding has always been quite comfortable, and I slept pretty well. Breakfast deserves a special mention; while not overly extensive, it covered both Chinese and Western options. The mini wontons were freshly made, with thin skins and a flavorful broth. Plus, they didn't charge for my child's breakfast, which was a nice human touch. Overall, I had a good stay, and the value for money is decent. I'd likely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai.

After calling the hotel, the staff quickly located my items, proactively helped package and mail them to me, and kept me updated on the shipping status throughout the process. The clothing arrived safely and in perfect condition. The hotel staff's integrity in returning lost property, their meticulous and responsible approach, and their willingness to go above and beyond to solve guest problems truly reflect Atour's excellent service standards. This smooth handling of my lost items and the shipping process made me feel incredibly grateful. Great stay overall! I arrived late from Zhengzhou, and there was a delay at check-in because my reservation couldn't be found. After contacting Trip.com, the issue was resolved within 15 minutes. I appreciated the room upgrade, Trip.com coin compensation, and complimentary gifts from hotel. The hotel is clean, close to Pudong Airport, and offers convenient free airport shuttle service. The staff were friendly, and the translation device made communication easy for non-Chinese speakers. I would definitely stay here again.
