Atour Properties in Shanghai

Out of the many hotels available, I chose Atour, and it felt incredibly warm and welcoming. The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get anywhere I wanted. They even offer late-night congee. Upon checking in, they proactively upgraded my room, and the bedding was really comfortable. The front desk lady was exceptionally nice. If I have the chance, I'll definitely choose to stay here again! 👍

The conditions here are absolutely fantastic; it's very comfortable to stay. The staff's service is especially on point. This is a must-have hotel for travel, and you won't find a single flaw in the cleanliness. I'd say it's my top choice when visiting Shanghai.

Very near to the Nanjing Road pedestrian street, 5mins walk where all the shopping are. There are many small local eatery around the hotel with one famous 莱莱小笼包.. Near to People's Square metro that is an interchange station to many other metro lines. Hotel has 3 washer and 3 dryers, and provides nightly supper(porridge) from 9.30pm to 11pm. Pillow and mattress are very comfortable and I end up buying one pillow home 😅 Hotel has robot to deliver amenities which is interesting. We booked an airport transfer with the hotel as we have 4 pax and 5 luggages, the transport came on time. :)

It was a last minute booking as my original hotel was not up to expectation. I must commend this waitress at the hotel restaurant during morning breakfast when it was crowded. She was always on her smiles and even told my family to move to a table where it was cleared when we were eating at the bar table. Her name was Chuan pu. Hope I give the correct pronunciation. Her name is found in picture I took. She advised us we could pack food if we needed to move out early as we already booked for daily breakfast. She always put on a smile even she was busy clearing tables. The lady receptionist was also very nice in helping us as it was a last minute booking. Overall experience in this hotel was fantastic!

I was very satisfied with the room. Staying at a chain hotel always gives me peace of mind. The only minor issues were that the hotel occupies only a few floors in a building, so the elevators could get a bit crowded and slow during peak hours. However, I was very happy with both the room and the facilities! This time, I stayed with my child for two nights, and everything was great. The soundproofing was a little lacking though; on the second night, I could clearly hear people entering rooms, talking, and playing in the hallway late at night. The service and breakfast were both excellent! There's a subway station right downstairs, which made getting around very convenient. The surrounding area also has plenty of dining options. I was very pleased with the location! I would definitely consider this hotel again for my next trip.

I've never stayed on the North Bund before, so I decided to experience it during this business trip. As expected, Atour 4.0's decor style is really unique. As someone from Yunnan, of course, I had to stay at the Atour Village-themed room and get a feel for its design. I encountered a small issue during check-in, but the front desk staff and Trip.com actively communicated and helped me resolve it. They upgraded my room and extended my check-out time. The service was very thoughtful and satisfying. I'll definitely choose an Atour 4.0 hotel for my next stop.

The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding soft and pleasant on the skin, and the shower pressure strong and consistent. The soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly prepared noodle station was a particularly thoughtful touch. A special thank you to the housekeeping staff for proactively bringing a phone charger, which solved an urgent problem for me. The attention to detail truly showcased their professionalism. Upon checking out, I had already recommended it to a friend who is coming here for a business trip. This stay deserves a five-star rating, and I look forward to my next visit.

This is my umpteenth time at the Saihe, and the consistent quality of the breakfast, afternoon tea, and late-night snacks always wins over me and my friends. Although the rooms aren't huge, they're perfectly adequate for sleeping, especially in such a prime location like North Bund. What truly stands out is the thoughtful layout and the intoxicating, elegant scent of pomelo. The cleaning staff are friendly and meticulous in their work. Its excellent location attracts many international guests, and it feels even more popular now than when it first opened. I've never really left a detailed review since it opened, so I hope this helps future guests. This hotel is in a fairly central location in Shanghai, making it convenient to get anywhere. I'm sure most people who choose this hotel have done their research. Just a few minutes' walk across Chongming Road in front of the hotel, you'll find Metro Line 10 and 12. The Bund's attractions are about a 15-minute walk away, and popular spots like Yuanmingyuan Road and Waibaidu Bridge are also close by. As a long-time Atour member, the quality of Saihe is beyond doubt. I'd especially like to commend Political Commissar Xiao Song and the restaurant's customer service representative, Yinuo, for their consistent help, which leaves us looking forward to our next visit. As a local, this has become our go-to gathering spot for friends and family. A big thank you to all the leaders and customer service staff who have assisted us. We will definitely be back!

Very technically advanced hotel BUT not suitable for families with young kids at all! 1. No door to separate the bathroom from the bedroom area. My busy infant kept trying to open the facet in the shower - What if he'd burnt? Additionally, after taking taking a shower we'd have to use towels to soak up the water so that the baby wouldn't slip and fall. Real health and safety hazard. 2.No iron in the bedroom - 1 personally went downstairs to reception to ask for one and then went out for about 3 hours. When I returned there was still no iron for my clothes and I had to call twice again. 3. Queen sized room is super small. For 2000 RMB for a weekend it was quite disappointing. 4. My infant could open this window. Where's the safety? He can climb, what if something had happened? 5. Waste of space in the room. There's an open section for something - not sure what, but it could've been used to extend the bathroom areas. 6. We didn't receive a free cot as per the advertisement. Overall it was an okay stay for the intended trip.
