Grand Mercure Hotels in Shanghai

The hotel is clean and hygienic, and there are quite a few foreigners staying here. It's not far from the exhibition center, and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to the exhibition center every day. Next to the hotel are Thumb Plaza and Lianyungang Plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. The front desk upgraded my room, and I even received a small gift at check-out, which was incredibly thoughtful!

Although it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained and clean overall, especially the unique giant painting in the atrium! The service is also quite good, particularly the front desk and concierge staff who are enthusiastic and efficient. Disposable toiletries are conveniently placed at the front desk for guests to pick up as needed, which is a very clever approach. The dining experience was also OK.

My trip to Lingang led me to choose the Grand Mercure Shanghai Lingang, and my stay far exceeded expectations – it definitely deserves a five-star rating! The room was spacious and bright, with an elegant and sensible layout. It was immaculately clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep. The facilities were also comprehensive; the central air conditioning had precise temperature control, and the bathtub in the bathroom was a huge bonus – soaking in it after a long day was incredibly relaxing. The soundproofing was excellent too, making the room exceptionally quiet. The location is also very convenient, with the Blue Bay International Plaza downstairs, and parking was hassle-free. From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful service from the housekeeping staff, I felt a genuine sincerity throughout my stay. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Lingang, and I highly recommend it to everyone!
