Just look at the pictures, this hotel is absolutely stunning! I stayed for two nights, but unfortunately, it was really windy in Shanghai for those two or three days, so I didn't get to explore much around the hotel. I only walked around the hotel garden, and the photos I took there are just perfect, I absolutely love that garden! Also, a huge thank you for the room upgrade; the room was incredibly spacious, and the double balcony offered fantastic views! The hotel breakfast was also excellent, with a wide variety of choices and very generous portions.

The hotel is built by the lake, surrounded by lush greenery, and the air is fresh. The architecture resembles blooming peach blossoms, creating a beautiful and delightful environment! We stayed in the fourth petal – Zone D, fourth floor. We were upgraded from a deluxe balcony room to a deluxe lake view balcony room, which featured two balconies, offering an enhanced viewing experience. Our room rate was a little over 1100, including breakfast for two and a fish head set meal, essentially covering all-day dining – excellent value for money! A big thank you to Trip.com and the hotel! The lobby atrium soars nearly ten meters high, and the dome's pattern mirrors the hotel's architectural shape, connecting to natural light, which is truly stunning! The guest room is approximately 50 square meters (not including the two balconies), spacious and bright with a sensible layout and an exquisite Chinese-style decor. The light fixtures have unique shapes, and you can choose between bright and soft lighting. The bed is large, and the bedding quality is superb – smooth, delicate, clean, and skin-friendly, significantly improving sleep quality. The bathroom is also spacious and bright. A sleek black bathtub is placed near the entrance. The fixtures are from a famous brand. The smart toilet room is adjacent to the shower room, and the washbasin is connected to the vanity, showcasing meticulous design. The showerhead (handheld) has excellent water pressure, and the large-sized toiletries are of good quality, making for a refreshing shower. This is truly what refined vacation living should be like. The hotel's service quality is excellent; the staff are soft-spoken, patient, meticulous, and their thoughtful service made us feel truly comfortable and happy.

I brought my wife here for her birthday, and we were pleasantly surprised with a room upgrade to a lake-view suite, complete with a birthday cake and decorations! The experience was fantastic, and the hotel restaurant's dishes were also quite good. Being close to Christmas, the hotel had a very strong festive atmosphere. This hotel used to be a Crowne Plaza, and after renovation, the design is very stylish. The hotel is positioned as a resort, perfect for family trips, and the scenery on the island is also quite nice. It would be even better if they could add more entertainment facilities in the future.

The entire hotel has a great design aesthetic. The rooms are spacious, and the soundproofing is excellent. You can go for a run on the outdoor walking paths or in the gym, which isn't usually crowded. All the hotel staff are very polite and greet you as they pass by. My butler was also very responsible and attentive. I was really happy with the three photos I chose from the complimentary travel photoshoot. It was a comfortable and enjoyable short trip.

The facilities are excellent, the breakfast spread is fantastic, the ambiance is superb, and the staff service is absolutely wonderful. The butler was very reliable and responsive. Everything was great, keep up the good work!

Came to Lingang for skiing and saw the very unique InterContinental camping cabins, which I'd been looking forward to for a long time. At first, I was worried there wouldn't be enough space for two kids to sleep, but they were so happy they didn't even want to go to bed! The hotel staff responded promptly, and the picnic basket they prepared was exquisite! The pool gets a big thumbs-up; even the loungers next to it are distinctive, making waiting for the kids very comfortable. The breakfast restaurant is very spacious, and there are several kinds of freshly squeezed vegetable juices to choose from – a godsend for fitness enthusiasts! I'll definitely choose InterContinental again next time I come for snow fun!

I've always been a big fan of InterContinental, and the one at Dishui Lake has an even better location, boasting unique scenery on a small island in Lingang. Every staff member I encountered from the moment I walked in truly embodied the brand's image, which is why InterContinental is always my top choice when booking a stay. Even before our trip began, a staff member (Ms. Wang Xin) had already provided us with detailed hotel information, making us feel at ease from the very start. Upon arrival, they thoughtfully upgraded our family of three to a lake-view room. Fearing our child might not adjust well to dining out, they even brought us a delicious sweet soup before bedtime, and for breakfast, they generously offered a nutritious chicken soup, which our little one happily enjoyed two full bowls of. On the second day, the weather unexpectedly changed, with strong winds raging outside. Inside, our child was having a blast at the kids' center. The clean and well-equipped children's activity area truly allowed us to relax and free up our hands.

This stay truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I felt the meticulous service. The front desk staff's smiling greeting was incredibly welcoming. The bedding in the room was so comfortable, I slept soundly all night. The bathroom design was both modern and thoughtful. I particularly want to commend the breakfast for its local specialty dishes, which added an authentic flavor to this trip. I'll definitely choose InterContinental again next time, highly recommended!

In my opinion, the InterContinental Dishui Lake is one of the best resort hotels in the Shanghai area, and a truly exemplary property within the IHG group. This was my second stay, and although I unfortunately missed the Dishui Lake fireworks display (which typically happens every Saturday at 8 PM starting from 2025), this non-hotel related shortcoming doesn't affect the hotel's quality, whether it's the food or the service. After a two-night stay, I still find many excellent aspects of the hotel, and I'll highlight three key points: First, the beautiful environment. The hotel occupies a southern island, with the picturesque Dishui Lake right outside. Under blue skies and white clouds, sailboats dot the vast, azure lake, creating a poetic and idyllic scene – a rare and stunning landscape within the Shanghai region. Second, the exquisite cuisine. I noticed a significant improvement in both the Western and Chinese restaurants compared to my previous visit, especially the desserts. They are basically the best I've encountered among the dozens of InterContinental properties I've stayed at (within the InterContinental brand only). The buffet also offers excellent options like cheese-baked lobster, cheese-baked durian, pan-fried small pomfret, and Dubarry ice cream. Third, the excellent service. From the front office to housekeeping, and from the restaurants to the lounge, the InterContinental's service is attentive and meticulous, and the staff are kind and approachable. I'd like to extend a special thank you to the hotel's management team and operations department for their warm and professional service during my family's stay. This includes employees I know by name and many others whose names I don't, such as F&B Manager George, Front Office Manager Carol, Duty Manager Jane, South Island Market Manager Kimi, Cai Feng Lou Manager Grace, and Executive Lounge staff member Linda. InterContinental Dishui Lake, I must return!

Before check-in on Saturday, the front desk attendant called to ask about our needs. Our room was upgraded, and the hotel staff, right up to the room service, were all incredibly patient and attentive. The room was thoughtfully decorated, and we even received a complimentary birthday cake, which was a lovely touch. The cake itself was delicious. There were fireworks at Dishui Lake Park on Saturday night; we thought they'd be canceled due to the rain, but it was a pleasant surprise. The hotel's facilities are great, and we'd definitely stay here again if we get the chance.

This was my first visit to the hotel since it was upgraded from a Crowne Plaza to an InterContinental. The decor has improved significantly, and the service even more so. The butler contacted me a day in advance to ask about my arrival time and transportation, and check-in on the day of arrival was seamless. After dinner at the hotel, we watched fireworks, but unfortunately, it was too cold to use the outdoor pool. At breakfast, a staff member in the lobby recognized me immediately and said she had delivered sweet soup to our room last night, which shows the thought put into their training.

The InterContinental Dishui Lake is in Lingang, and on Saturday nights, you can see fireworks from your room across the lake. It's a mixed bag, honestly. Service really depends on the individual; some guest services staff are excellent, while others are less clear on procedures. The first room we were given was moldy and damp, with a lot of dust on the floor in the corners. They upgraded us on the second day. However, as a Platinum member, I should have been upgraded at least one level upon check-in on the first day. The front desk staff on the first day in the lobby seemed really unclear on their duties; it was hard to deal with. I'm also not sure if the sweet soup is a daily offering or just occasional. The pool water was nice, and the gym was very good; the lady staff at the healthy club was lovely. The hotel generally looks very luxurious, but the actual materials used are quite ordinary and cheap. I feel that management could improve their training.

From the moment we stepped out of the car, the bellhop immediately took our luggage, and we didn't have to lift a finger the entire time. At check-in, the front desk thoughtfully provided kids' toiletries and welcome fruits. The most pleasant surprise was when we casually mentioned our room felt a bit cold. Within minutes, a heater was delivered – the efficiency was incredible! In short, all our needs were anticipated and met. We felt like cherished friends rather than just guests.
