Sofitel Shanghai North Bund

I came to Hongkou Football Stadium to see my idol GAI, and found a hotel nearby. Sofitel seemed to be the best option. There were limited parking spaces in the hotel's basement and ground level. The room was great, as you can see in the video, with the three amenities clearly visible. All the staff were quite enthusiastic and attentive, which was really good.

The location is excellent, and the overall decor is elegantly French yet simple. The room is spacious, and it's a very new hotel. However, one of the USB ports by the bed was broken and couldn't charge, and there were some small flying insects in the bathroom, probably due to Shanghai's humidity. The pillows were uncomfortable 😞

The service was excellent, and the location was great too. The air conditioning was surprisingly quiet – absolutely fantastic! Overall, I was very satisfied. The cleanliness was top-notch, and the soundproofing was good, allowing for a peaceful sleep. The front desk staff were friendly, and it offered great value for money. Highly recommend staying here.

This is my third time staying at this hotel after two years. I visited twice when it first opened. This time, I stayed here on the last day of my one-week trip to Shanghai. I can honestly say this hotel offers the best value for money and the best service! I highly recommend it if you're traveling; the location is also great. Every staff member is excellent, and I really like the room layout. I will definitely be back.

The overall hotel experience was superb! The room was clean and comfortable, the service was attentive and thoughtful, the location was convenient, and the facilities were well-maintained. I felt safe and relaxed during my stay. Definitely worth a five-star recommendation.

Great location! You can even see the Oriental Pearl Tower from the 16th floor. The staff were very friendly, and the decor was lovely. I also appreciated the good security measures – you need a room card to access the upper floors. It's not far from the subway station either. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time.
