We stayed 2N at room 335 (10-12 May 2025). Room was spacious, clean and bright with 2 double beds for 3 of us. We slept well, beds were comfortable and air con, lightings all working fine. Quiet neighbourhood.
Location was abt a 400-500m to Zhong Xing subway, A few convenient stores around the hotel where you can get drinks and snacks. A few small eateries within 150m.
We absolutely love the hotel, they have washers and dryers (including detergent) free for hotel guests and big fridge selling drinks and mostly important the counter staff are super friendly. They used their personal mobile phones to help order takeaways for me and ensured I’m informed when the delivery has arrived.
We have a comfortable stay at the hotel and I highly recommend this hotel. It is near to Shanghai railway station and famous Nanking road and within 10mins walk to a big shopping mall (大悦城).
Special thanks to the housekeeping lady who cleaned our room daily.

My stay at Dayin Garden Hotel was truly wonderful. The room was spotlessly clean, and the staff provided exceptional service—always attentive, friendly, and ready to assist. The location near People’s Square and Nanjing Road was perfect, making it easy to explore the city.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Shanghai. The comfort, cleanliness, and professionalism made my trip even more enjoyable. I’d gladly stay here again!

The cleanliness of the room and the service provided by the hotel were very good. However, there were areas that needed improvement. I stayed at the hotel for five nights. The TV's internet service wasn’t working for all channels for three nights. Need additional payments to watch most of the TV channels
Additionally, unlike most hotels in China, this hotel offers only a fixed set breakfast instead of a buffet. The breakfast cost ¥38 but the portions were relatively small and there were only three varieties to choose from.
Also, do not be misled by the hotel’s advertised photos. The hotel is a three-story building with just over 40 rooms. The tall apartment complex visible behind the hotel in the photo is not part of the hotel property.
The location is somewhat isolated and was not noisy at night. The nearest metro and bus stations were within a 10 or 15-minute walk.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nearest shopping mall Joy City Shanghai about 700m away. Nanjing road shopping street about 1.5km away. Easy to book Didi to get around. Rooms are spacious, clean and well-replenished daily. Enjoyed the privacy of the 3 bedroom apartment (2 adjacent rooms) booked.

Sun and Su were friendly and helpful. Sun even helped me learn some Chinese sentences haha.
This property is nice and clean, relaxed vibe(perfect for working remote), great coffee and not far from a train station.

This is a wonderful place for solo travelers. The bathrooms are spotlessly clean, which is a huge plus. The hosts are incredibly friendly and genuinely helpful, making you feel right at home. I can’t recommend it enough for anyone looking for a pleasant stay. Plus, the price is quite reasonable, making it accessible for all.
