Dengba Inn (Shanghai Lujiazui New World Plaza)

The front desk service was excellent, and the room was very clean. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation, and the mattress was soft and comfortable. It was also very convenient. I contacted them in advance to request a lower bunk, and the front desk staff thoughtfully arranged one for me. Five-star rating! My roommates were quiet at night. We played board games and cards together in the evening and met some new friends. There was also a projector in the lobby at night for watching movies, and a handsome guy was playing guitar, so we all started singing along. The bed linens were all very clean, so I felt comfortable making the bed myself. The location is great, very close to Line 9, and it's also convenient to get to Lujiazui, Nanjing East Road, and the Bund on Line 2. I recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai for the first time who isn't sure where to stay!
