Mercure Hotel (Shanghai Hongqiao Exhibition and Convention Center)

The breakfast was plentiful, and the laundry facilities with a dryer were very convenient. The front desk staff were enthusiastic and helpful. This hotel is very close to the National Exhibition and Convention Center (Shanghai), with a taxi ride costing only about ten yuan. It's also not far from the subway.

Excellent! They didn't rush me to check out even though I accidentally stayed past noon. The service was fantastic, the bed was very comfortable, and the duvet was spotless. The restaurant area is also a convenient spot to sit around during the day!

The room was great and the service was excellent. There's a small gym. It would be even better if adults could also get a small gift for finishing their breakfast plates.

The hotel is clean and well-maintained, with complete facilities. It's conveniently located near the subway. The rooms are spacious and tidy, cleaned daily, and the staff are warm and attentive. I'll definitely stay here again.

The location is great, very close to Panlong Xintiandi, the National Exhibition and Convention Center, and Hongqiao Airport. Compared to other Mercure hotels, this one offers extra cookies in the fridge and features Shanghai-style拌面 (bàn miàn, a type of mixed noodles) for breakfast. The other Western breakfast pastries also seem tastier than those I've had at the Mercure in Chongqing.

The front desk service was excellent, but the facilities were a bit lacking. It's not quite up to the usual Mercure standard. The curtains didn't block out the light, and the air conditioning was problematic. One night, the AC stopped cooling, so I had to bother the front desk staff late at night to switch rooms. However, the new room's AC only worked below 23℃; if set between 24℃ and 26℃, it emitted a strange odor. I hope the hotel considers renovating or at least cleaning their air conditioning units.

The room was clean, and I really liked it. The view was great, and it was quiet during my stay. It offers good value for money. The only downside is that it's not in a commercial area, so restaurants are quite a walk away.
