Awesome location. Very near to train station. Internet slows to a crawl to non-existent. Unfortunately, there is a building undergoing renovation opposite so can be quite noisy.

Nice place to stay in Shanghai, 2mins from the metro station, about 15 mins to East Nanjing Rd taking the metro, people‘s square in walking distance and there‘s some restaurants and a convenience store right nextdoor. Room was nice with everything you need and it was clean. Reception didn‘t speak English at check-in but they used a translation app to convey the most essential information

We had a nice stay at the hotel. The location is great, at walking distance from shops, restaurants and subway. The room was nice, well equipped, but lacked in cleanliness (the carpet especially).

I’ve come to this hotel quite a few times over the past few years and overall, it does the job. Front desk staff are pleasant enough, rooms are clean, and it’s a great location near a subway station. It should be known, however, that apparently some of the rooms are Dragonball Z themed. After three years and maybe ten stays at this hotel, I had not come across this fact until I booked the day before my stay and Trip warned me it was the “last room” as I was booking. Boy, howdy were my partner and I surprised when we opened the door and found the whole room (luckily excluding the bathroom) plastered in giant pictures of DBZ characters. As I am a right side of the bed kind of lady, I had the honor of this giant picture of Freiza to wake up to. It’s not exactly a deal breaker, but it would have been nice to know that in advance. Again, one time out of ten isn’t bad, I just think a little warning from the front desk or Trip when booking would have been nice. If I were a ten year old boy, this would have 100% made my life.
