First, let's talk about the service. The service at the 83rd-floor Executive Lounge and the 57th-floor spa and gym was excellent. However, the 54th-floor reception seemed understaffed, leading to queues. I've stayed at most hotels of a similar caliber, and I've never had to wait in line for check-in or check-out. Regarding the room amenities, the Lujiazui skyline view is absolutely stunning, and the bed was very comfortable. They even use eco-friendly materials for the toothbrushes and toothpaste. However, the shower wasn't very responsive, feeling almost a decade old, and the toilet paper was extremely thin. I also want to mention the complimentary food and beverages. The breakfast and afternoon tea selection was incredibly limited, the least variety I've seen in hotels of this class. The saving grace is that you can access the Executive Lounge for most of the day. Finally, the hotel's location is extremely convenient, right next to Metro Lines 2 and 14, making it easy to get to attractions like The Bund or the Oriental Pearl Tower. Overall, I'd rate it around 4.5 out of 5. The service and location are definite positives. If you don't have extremely high expectations, it's still a decent choice.

The room was very comfortable. The location is excellent, with great amenities nearby. The night view from up high was romantic, and the service was warm and friendly, making us feel very welcome.

This was our top choice for this trip and easily the biggest highlight of the entire journey. We loved sleeping among the clouds and enjoying breakfast in a sky-high restaurant. It was so relaxing watching the mist slowly clear to reveal the skyscrapers and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. This kind of joy is truly beyond words! The front desk staff thoughtfully sent up some welcome fruit, including my favorite strawberries. Eating fresh strawberries while soaking in the tub, I almost felt like I was at a hot spring! The breakfast was rich and varied, especially the salmon – three different flavors of fresh salmon, truly a salmon lover's dream. There were many other unforgettable moments that I won't list individually. In short, it offers both efficiency and comfort, providing a pleasant and joyful experience for guests and partners alike. It truly lives up to its reputation as a well-known, established star-rated hotel in Shanghai. Even at check-out, a kind staff member called to ask about my stay, and their warm service made me feel completely at home. Grand Hyatt, you did great!

I've been to Shanghai countless times, and this time I took my mom to visit. We specifically chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Jin Mao Tower. The hotel staff proactively contacted me via phone and WeChat beforehand to ask about my preferences. Upon learning I was traveling with my mother, they kindly upgraded us to a river-view room, which was incredibly spacious and offered a stunning view. The breakfast, available in both Chinese and Western styles, was delicious.

Every detail was handled perfectly. Even though the facilities are showing their age, their service is still absolutely outstanding!

The hygiene was top-notch, the air was fresh, and the room was quite spacious. The location is excellent, perfect for taking photos of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' (iconic skyscrapers). The high-altitude river view is fantastic, and the North Bund view from my room was also very good. Everything was very clean, the air was fresh, and the space felt open. The convenient location was great for both work and leisure. The high-altitude views offered rich layers of scenery, with a distinct charm both day and night.
