My favorite hotel in SH. Beautiful &confortable bedrooms Amazing Swimming pool, gym & SPA Only the restaurant need to improved..

The hotel is in one of the best locations. We were early and were told that we couldn’t check in the room by 2 o’ clock - no problem. When we got back at 4 our luggage was already put into our room. Unfortunately the room was only set up for two, while we booked and were using it by 3 persons. The room is great but needs some attention, old lcd tv that showed wear and tear and don’t understand some of the design choices, such as not extending the red velvet all the way at least to the end of the bed. A tv was in the mirror buoying, but no remote and was not working anymore. This hotel had a good pool, small but nice and there was a sauna, but it was closed for maintenance, but there was a steam room. Unfortunately, that could use some maintenance as well. Very little steam was produced, a lot a mosaic tiles were missing and there was some backdrop piece missing. Also in the pool area there were two experience showers, but both were not operational and in need of an urgent update. The breakfast was ok, but the selection was limited computing other 5 star hotels. Overall, I believe there are better options in Shanghai. The hotel feels outdated and in need of an urgent update.

August 10th is the day for my wife and I to get our marriage certificate. We also chose Pudong Regent Hotel. Sure enough, we were not disappointed. The hotel staff were very professional and friendly. Special thanks to Sheldon, head of Concierge, and Mr. Zhou, head of front office. Then I will recommend more friends to stay. Thank you again for your meticulous care during our stay.

Me and my girlfriend booked a one night stay at the Regent Pudong for her birthday. I would like to start off by saying Robin was fantastic from start to finish. I emailed several hotels for more information on spa and dietary information but Regent was the only one that got back to me thanks to Robin. He was also very helpful and added some nice touches to our stay during check in. We stayed at the King Club Regent room with the Pearl view. Needless to say, the view was amazing and the decor and details were beautiful. The free minibar had decent offering. There were many amenities but no sanitary pads. Spa was amazing with a great view. We booked the Legend Reborn massage and we enjoyed it lot, the pressure was just right. They arranged an English speaking masseuse for my girlfriend which was a nice touch. The only disappointment that we had was that both the sauna and steam room was not working in the female spa section. As we stayed in the club room, we enjoyed afternoon tea in the club lounge. The view was once again, beautiful but there weren't many vegan options. However, one positive was that all the food had dietary information labeled which is hard to find in China. The breakfast was fantastic, there were many options from Asian to Western cuisines, all of which were very tasty! Again, dietary information was there for each dishes. The only feedback is that some food was mislabeled as vegan despite having egg/diary in them! Service was a highlight; from check in, afternoon tea, breakfast, the spa and check out. The staff were friendly, helpful and spoke good English and have great attention to detail. Overall, I would recommend Regent Pudong and would definitely stay again.

A truly 5 stars hotel. Select the pearl view room and u will not regret it. The night view is awesome! Mini bar is free including a bottle of red wine. Staff are all attentive and friendly. Especially a young man ( bell boy), I forgot to take down his name. He is very attentive and very quick to run over to help us with our luggage when we alighted from the taxi.

Outstanding facilities! The view from the pool is one of the best you’ll get of SH at night! Would stay again, if I could afford it

Such a great hotel! First of all the team were really helpful and attentive and made me feel welcome. The room is great- specious, clean and modern. The shower is amazing. The food I. The hotel restaurant is delicious. Highly recommended!

The facility in the hotel is a little old, but the swimming pool on the rooftop is brilliant as it’s wonderful view to see the skyline of Pudong, Shanghai.

Centrally located and close to Line 2. Good service and the infinity swimming pool is nice.
