I stayed here with my kids, and the hotel exterior looked quite grand, with a nicely decorated lobby. However, staying here turned out to be a huge disappointment. The rooms inside were incredibly cramped and felt very oppressive. As soon as I entered, there was a strong smell of smoke (even though the room had a 'no smoking' sign). I asked to switch rooms, but the air conditioning in the new room was broken, and the ventilation was terrible. It was the middle of winter, but we were absolutely roasting; even with the AC off, the temperature wouldn't drop! It stayed at 28 degrees Celsius all night! My child ended up getting a heat-induced cold and barely slept all night!!! In this hotel, the phones in both rooms I stayed in were out of order, so I had to call the front desk through Trip.com! There were no door stoppers behind the room doors! The ventilation was extremely poor! And being right next to an elevated highway, the noise was unbearable!!!

Decent rooms newt and clean, though s ome welcome fruit was missing and some coffee but overall good location near train station and the exit entry to train station need to be improved especially people with luggage, so need to open hotel another entry convenient to train station

What a terrible hotel. If Radisson thinks this hotel represents their brand both of Park Inn and/or Radisson, then avoid the brand entirely. The hotel is really dated but that is not the problem. The real problem is the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. It is dirty, it has mold in the bathroom, the single sofa in the room was so dirty and the general feel is like there is no attention to maintenance of the rooms whatsoever.. Location is good for the area since it is walking distance from the metro line and the Shanghai Railway Station (South Entrance). I would not recomend this hotel and I will never stay again here. One night was too much already. Check the pictures I uploaded and judge by yourselves...

Hygiene: Absolutely terrible! The moment I pulled back the duvet, I saw a hair. I seriously doubt if they change the bedding for every guest; it's so disgusting 🤢 Environment: The room was tiny and had a weird smell as soon as I walked in. The air conditioning didn't have heating, but if you turned it off, the strange smell lingered. Service: Not a single person offered to help with luggage. The security guard even said I couldn't leave my bags by the door. Seriously, if I can't carry everything in one go, where am I supposed to put the rest? It was okay. The location was good. It was near to Shanghai Railway Station and to some places we visited. But when we came in, it was too cold and the AC was actually off. The musty odor from the room and the hallway was overwhelming I wished I didn't inhale them. It seemed that carpet had not been vacuumed for a long time. The walls weren't isolated. At late nights, my friend and I had to listen to people talking loudly till midnight.

Conveniently located near the station, very reasonable price and friendly staff but otherwise very basic, stained carpets in the hallways etc. Also my 6th floor room had a very small and dirtyy window, felt claustrophobic

Unfortunately, our stay at Park Inn by Radisson was very disappointing. We chose this hotel based on its central location and good reviews, but the experience fell far below expectations. 1. At check-in, we struggled to even find the elevators for the first five minutes until we went back to ask the receptionist for directions. 2. Upon entering the room, there was a musty odor instead of a welcoming atmosphere. 3. The windows were extremely dirty, making it impossible to enjoy any outside view. 4. The room had visible dust in every corner, and the carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a long time. 5. The bathtub drain was clogged, and worse, there was mold around the drain area, making it completely unusable. The only positive during our stay was the housekeeping staff, who responded promptly when we requested additional towels. Overall, we cannot recommend this hotel, especially for families. We are highly disappointed that Radisson maintains such a poorly kept property in the heart of Shanghai.
