We have a short stay just one night at Crown Plaza HarbourCity as we were planned to go to Shanghai Astronomy Museum (this hotel is near to this famous museum) The hotel is so clean and well designed. In winter, inside hotel is warm. The room is nice. All rooms have balcony. And the public area is so large and elegant. Breakfast is nice also. There is a warm indoor swimming pool with sunset view at evening.

Enjoyable stay. Comfortable room with balcony & lake view. Choice of western, sandwich & Chinese food. 4km from a shopping. Nice facilities ; enjoyed a 1h aromatic massage @spa - 5stars service & cost. Only weak point is lack of English speaking staff but with patience, everyone is helpful eventually !

Our stay with the hotel was great. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel’s location is quite far from the city centre but if you like to visit the scening spots in this area, it’s definitely a place to stay.

Service from front desk was unfortunately below the expectations from a 5 Stars hotel. “Please”, “Thank you”, “May I” are words that seems to be non existence to them.. besides that all the dining tables at the restaurant are dirty as we believe, a dirty cloth was used to clean all the tables leaving a lot of stains on the tables. We had to use wet ones and tissue paper to clean the table again. Besides that the 4 wheels bike for rental should be electric power instead especially so when the roads are not flat.. Other than these, the location and the surroundings were enjoyable..

Went there with my family (two kids age 1 and 4).
The Hotel has clearly the best spot on the lake. Unfortunately the outdoor pool was closed. As we are from Shanghai it was a good Staycation to see the lake but it did not excite us.

The hotel start to become a bit old. There was a bad smell in the room, view is not amazing. Otherwise it’s very big and well located. Buffet is amazing!

Going out of season meant that many of the amenities were not available. Not one of our favourite places we have ever stayed but the staff were friendly and helpful. Unlikely to return.
