My overall experience at the Shanghai Tiancheng Hotel was excellent, and I'd like to share my genuine feedback. The hotel boasts a superb location, being close to Dapuqiao Metro Station on Line 9, making travel incredibly convenient. It's very near Xintiandi, Tianzifang, and the Huaihai Road commercial area. Plus, there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it ideal for both business trips and city sightseeing. The hotel staff were warm and attentive. The front desk handled check-in and check-out efficiently, and they were friendly and polite. Any requests were addressed promptly, and the service was meticulous and thoughtful. The guest rooms were clean and tidy, spacious, with comfortable bedding and well-maintained bathroom facilities. The environment was spotless, ensuring a comfortable and reassuring stay. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a wide variety of dishes, offering a good mix of Chinese and Western options. Hot dishes, pastries, and beverages were all available and tasty, satisfying different dining preferences. My overall experience exceeded expectations, and it offered great value for money. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shanghai.

The room was a good size and clean. Being on a higher floor, it was pretty quiet, and the air conditioning worked well. It's also conveniently located for Ruijin Hospital, and parking is free.

This truly lives up to its reputation as a luxurious, 'old money' style hotel. The privacy is exceptional; once the door closes, you're completely cut off from the outside world. This is hands down the best soundproofed hotel I've ever stayed in.

The hotel's location is pretty good, close to the subway station and Tianzifang. The hotel environment itself is just average though; the room facilities are quite old-fashioned. It's clean and spacious, but the lighting is a bit dim. Also, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, so there's banging and noise starting at 7 AM. Plus, food delivery isn't allowed upstairs; you have to go down to the delivery locker to pick it up yourself. Overall, it's not too bad, an OK stay!

My kids accompanied their nearly 90-year-old grandmother to Shanghai for a family visit. We chose this hotel because it's right next to Raffles City, offering plenty of places to explore and enjoy.

The room was quite clean and quiet. My family was very satisfied, and the price was really reasonable. For this price in a big city like Shanghai, you can't ask for more. Plus, it's located right in the city center, close to everything.

Very bad experience with service, no food delivery allowed to the room!! Rooms are old, equipment and furniture is old, no central AC..., Can't open windows...

Very convenient for getting around, it's close to the subway, and the subway station is connected to a shopping mall with lots of food options.

The front desk service was excellent. The two gentlemen at the front desk when we checked in on the 5th and 7th were great. The room was clean.
