MaxX By Steigenberger on the Bund Shanghai

This trip was with my parents, and they were very satisfied. The hotel is very close to the Bund, and we could see the river view right from our window. We booked a room directly facing the river. The DIY cocktails were also good; it was nice to enjoy them in the room while looking at the river view in the evening. The hotel facilities are good, and the service is excellent. Housekeeping cleaned our room daily. We also had dinner on the second floor of the hotel, which was very good with excellent service and delicious food. My parents were extremely pleased. Overall, it was a great trip, and we'll definitely come back next time 😁

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's just a few minutes' walk to the Bund observation deck, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historical buildings and enjoying the night view of the Huangpu River. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The hot water in the bathroom was also consistently stable. The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in was efficient, and any requests were handled quickly. After a night out on the Bund, it was very reassuring to be able to slowly walk back to the hotel. This place is perfect for a trip to Shanghai, and I'll definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

I stayed at the Shanghai Marvelous Hotel, and the location is absolutely fantastic – it's a short walk to both Chenghuang Temple and The Bund. I had a high-floor room with Bund views, and the floor-to-ceiling windows looked directly at the 'Lujiazui three-piece set' (referring to the three iconic skyscrapers). The night view was incredible! The bedding was comfortable, and the breakfast included authentic xiaohuntun (small wontons) and shengjian (pan-fried buns). For location and service, this is definitely my top choice for a trip to Shanghai.

Traveling with seniors and a child, I wanted a hotel with a convenient location. After reading some reviews, I chose the Magnificent International Hotel Bund. The front desk staff, Shirley, even upgraded our room, which offered a view of the Bund. Right across from the hotel, we could catch the ferry, making it super convenient for families with elderly members and kids.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to the Bund. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, making for a pleasant stay. The front desk staff were warm and polite, and check-in was efficient and smooth. In the evening, you can enjoy the magic city's night view without even leaving the hotel, and getting around for sightseeing is super convenient. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Shanghai. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is super convenient, right across from the Oriental Pearl Tower. Shirley at the front desk was incredibly nice; she helped us get connecting rooms and even upgraded us to a suite! The room was clean, tidy, and odor-free, with a perfect night view that made the kids super happy. All the hotel staff were very polite. Overall, the experience was fantastic, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shanghai!

Right downstairs are the riverside promenade and a ferry terminal. There are also tons of Black Pearl and Michelin-starred restaurants nearby, making it incredibly convenient!

I've been to Shanghai for business several times, and I've never been able to find a satisfactory room until now. This time, I finally found one I love. The room was very comfortable and spacious, and overall, it was great value for money. I had read reviews saying the facilities were old, but when I got in, they seemed perfectly fine and quite new overall. The front desk service was also excellent. When the fruit wasn't delivered on time, they quickly responded and resolved it. The hotel's location is fantastic; you can see the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai Tower, and it's very close to the Bund. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. I felt the breakfast could have offered more variety. While it was exquisite, there weren't many options, possibly due to limited space. Overall, it was still a great stay. Recommended!

I was looking for a hotel close to Yu Garden and ended up choosing this HUAZHU hotel. The location is excellent, super convenient, and the views speak for themselves, just look at the pictures, haha! The hotel's service team was also very patient and friendly throughout our stay. It was a really comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience!
