This was my second stay, and once again, the service was very responsive. They were very accommodating, especially since we were staying for an exam, and I really appreciate that. My child also slept very well; the room was quiet. I'd definitely consider staying here again if needed.

Great for short business trips, with a good environment, fresh air, and excellent service. The buffet is decent too. It's also relatively quiet and not overly bustling. Definitely recommend it. Value for money is average.

The overall experience staying at Sheraton Shanghai Waigaoqiao Hotel was acceptable. Their room service is available 24 hours, and you can order food by calling their hotline anytime. However, please note that the menu prices are on the higher side. One simple main course can cost almost twice as much as ordering through ******* food delivery. There are also 2–3 restaurants within the building itself if you do not mind the pricing. The hotel surroundings are mainly office buildings, so there are no nearby restaurants or shops within walking distance. However, the 基隆路 metro station is easily accessible with an 8–10 minute walk. For ******* food deliveries, all orders must be sent to the locker located outside the hotel lobby near the drop-off area. The hotel management does not allow food deliveries to be sent directly to the rooms, and they do not provide robots for delivery either, which means guests need to personally come down to collect their food. The same applies to parcels. Although the hotel has a counter to receive parcels (refer to picture 2) and store them temporarily, guests still need to collect them personally from the counter. For a high-end hotel, this level of service was not what I expected. The hotel also provides laundry services for an additional fee, charged per piece. Their laundry service team was efficient — they collected the clothes directly from the room and returned them in good condition, neatly hung in the wardrobe. Room cleaning was done daily. I stayed for 4 nights, and they provided complimentary bottled water every day (around 4–6 bottles daily). This could give an extra point even though most of the hotel in China have the same standard. The hotel breakfast was average. Although there were many choices available, the taste could definitely be improved. I took some buns from the steaming area, but they were still cold and hard. The staff were standing nearby, but they did not provide any proactive service or assistance. Quite disappointed overall for a five-star hotel brand, and I hope the management team will take action to improve the issues mentioned above.

This hotel is located in the Waigaoqiao Free Trade Zone. The overall environment is decent, though the facilities are a bit dated. Both the general atmosphere and the service are pretty good. The price isn't particularly cheap, but getting around from here is quite convenient.

🌟 Five-star quality, budget-friendly price! As a Sheraton under Marriott, the facilities are top-notch and well-maintained. The design is elegant and grand, perfect for both business and leisure. The rooms are spacious with excellent natural light, and the scenic view rooms overlook the bonded zone and the Yangtze River, offering stunning night views. The dining exceeded expectations with three restaurants plus a lounge, featuring a full range of Chinese, Western, and Japanese cuisine. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of fresh ingredients. The Executive Lounge's afternoon tea and Happy Hour are generous, with unlimited chilled seafood, hot dishes, and desserts. The service is attentive yet unobtrusive, with prompt responses. Free parking is available, and it's close to the subway. Compared to hotels of similar caliber in the city, this one offers incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

I've stayed here several times. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but the cleanliness is generally good. It's quite convenient to get around, only a few minutes' walk to the subway station. Overall, I'm still satisfied.

The facilities are brand new and the room is spacious. The bedding is consistently comfortable, as expected from Sheraton, and there's a choice of soft or firm pillows. The bathroom has excellent water pressure and hot water comes quickly, which is something many five-star hotels struggle with. The location is convenient, close to the subway station, and parking is free if you're driving. It's also easy to get to the Free Trade Zone and exhibition halls.

My child had an exam nearby, and since our home is quite far from the school, we've stayed at the Sheraton for two consecutive years. They gave us a high-floor room, which was lovely – quiet, clean, and very conducive for a student to study. The breakfast also offered a good variety! Highly recommend it to anyone with similar needs.

The pool is great for swimming. The room was a bit stuffy, and it only got better after I asked a staff member to open a window. The Chinese restaurant tasted good and offered good value for money. Breakfast was mediocre with limited options. More suitable for business travelers.

The hotel's proximity to the subway is very convenient, and it offers good value for money. The room is quite spacious, making it a good choice if you have ample time. It's also easy to get to the city center and Wujiaochang by subway.

Absolutely dreadful experience! Seriously, don't bother staying at a Sheraton in the suburbs! Our room booking clearly stated a complimentary buffet dinner for two, to be served at the first-floor Western restaurant. Yet, on check-in day, I had to ask five different staff members, each giving me a different answer – sometimes it was the 1st-floor restaurant, other times the 51st-floor Executive Lounge. Eventually, a staff member explained that the 1st-floor restaurant was reserved for group bookings that day, so we were 'relocated' to the 51st floor. What they offered there was hardly a buffet dinner; it was more like a meager afternoon tea with an extremely limited selection. To top it off, a staff member actually told me the 51st-floor had fewer items because it was 'free,' implying the 1st-floor required payment. Excuse me, but my suite booking *included* dining on the 1st floor, which I had already paid for! I then contacted my Ctrip concierge, who confirmed that we should have been at the 1st-floor restaurant and assured me hotel staff would reach out to coordinate. No one ever did, and in the end, I was offered a mere 120 compensation. Check-in was equally disorganized. There was some event going on, leaving the lobby in utter chaos. I was simply handed two key cards, with absolutely no one to direct me to the elevators. Their customer service was virtually nonexistent! And if you order takeout, you're forced to go all the way to a designated locker to pick it up yourself! The room itself was also a mess. The AC in our first room wasn't cooling; after we switched, the AC in the second room was freezing cold and completely unadjustable. Honestly, I was utterly exasperated. Breakfast on the second day was equally awful. The waffles, for instance, were just beyond words. It seems they sell the perfectly shaped ones and serve the buffet guests the leftover scraps and broken pieces – how incredibly tacky! The staff's attitude was also very poor, and the breakfast food itself was incredibly unappetizing. It's truly laughable that they dare to charge 98 for such a subpar buffet. Are they seriously expecting guests to pay 98 just to eat leftovers and feel completely ripped off?!
