The hotel was very nice. No bad smell in the room or the conditioner. No wet smell. Quiet location. The room was rather new. Beds are comfortable. Aby from reception was very nice! Overall we really liked our stay here. The only thing that was a little odd for me - the cleaning lady didn’t make our beds and didn’t wash the cups when we used it. Other than that - a very nice and pleasant experience. Lunch is amazing! We will come back to this place the next time we are in Shanghai. Good value!

The Kingtown Hotel is a decent mid-range option for tourists on a budget. On the plus side, it sits in a very strategic location near the city center and offers easy access to public transit although required walking past small alley. Anyway, the facilities are showing their age, only some rooms were renovated, and the breakfast variety is fairly limited. It is a good place just to sleep, but do not expect luxury.

Really good location, near to the centrer, close to the Suzhou River, it has Gym and laundry as well, nice staff - Maggie provided excellent service to us, thank you for het! - the lobby is nice. Everything is really hood. The breakfast was excellent, with the lot of choices. Thank you! We will cime back!

Room was slightly underwhelming, the photos seem more likeable than the actual room. Service was good at the reception, was served by several different people. Loaned us umbrellas when needed, laundry room had 2 washing machine and 2 dryers, which was well used by us. Overall a nice stay, location is slightly hard to fin

The location is super convenient, right on West Nanjing Road, and only a 7-minute walk to the metro station. Great value for money too.
