The rooms were very clean, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Plus, the restaurant even offered a late-night snack of wonton noodles, which was a nice touch. The buffet breakfast was also quite substantial. It's a great place for families with kids.

I've stayed in the family room, twin room, and king room at this hotel. The first two are the same size, while the king room's bedroom is a bit smaller than those two. However, the other facilities are just as good, and the beds are equally clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff is meticulous and responsible; they clean the rooms immaculately. The service is friendly, and they're always happy to answer any questions. The front desk staff, Lucky and Steven, are exceptionally good – very professional, responsible, and caring. Oh, and there's also a young, handsome front desk guy who speaks fluent English and can communicate seamlessly with foreign guests. This place truly has hidden gems!

Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden is in a great location. The family room is spacious, and everything is very clean. It's also super close to the metro station. Our group of 15 stayed at Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden for 3D2N, and we had a very pleasant experience overall. We arrived early in the morning, and the hotel kindly provided temporary rooms for us to rest until the official check-in time, which we truly appreciated after a long journey. The hotel facilities are very good. Although it is a large property, it is extremely well managed. What impressed us most was the staff — everyone was friendly, supportive, and always willing to help. Even though some staff members do not speak English fluently, they use translation devices, so communication was never an issue. They also assisted us in arranging airport pick-up cars with good vehicles, polite drivers, and reasonable prices. Breakfast was served buffet-style with a good variety of food and satisfactory quality. The hotel’s location is very convenient, within walking distance of Yu Garden, The Bund, Nanjing Road, and other attractions, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and would highly recommend Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden to both group travelers and individual guests.
