Stayed end March. Aside from the location, which to be fair is doing most of the heavy lifting, there’s really not much else worth raving about.
Our keycard thoughtfully deactivated itself before check out time, which led to a trip back to reception where my request to recut the keys was met with impressive indifference. The lady at the desk perfected the art of being present without actually engaging.
The bed was rock hard, great if you enjoy sleeping on a plank, and the air conditioning had a mind of its own, blowing warm air even on “Cool” mode. We were informed, quite casually, that “Cool” air is not actually a thing here, so we settled for a standing fan instead. Innovative, I suppose.
The bathroom setup was interesting. A single sliding door shared between the shower and toilet area, because who does not enjoy a bit of logistical planning with their bathroom routine?
Service overall felt off, but check out was the highlight. A suited gentleman, possibly a manager, stood by and asked us for a “5 star” review. When I mentioned our driver was waiting and we would leave a review later, he insisted we complete and show it to him on the spot. After I declined and left, his demeanor shifted noticeably.
All in all, unless location is your only priority, there are far better options in town.
