This hotel is perfectly located in Xintiandi, a bustling area in the heart of Shanghai, yet it offers a peaceful retreat. The buildings are low-rise and scattered within a beautiful garden. My boss was on a layover in Shanghai for a business trip, so we were in a rush and didn't get to appreciate the hotel's full beauty. I snapped a few photos at night, and they turned out absolutely stunning. InterContinental always delivers high quality and excellent aesthetics, making it a great choice for both leisure and business travel – you won't be disappointed.

The greenery at Ruijin Hotel is simply charming – old camphor trees, trumpet vines, hydrangeas, all set against those red-brick historic villas. Strolling through feels like exploring an exquisite private garden, with such an elegant and beautiful ambiance! The service was incredibly warm and attentive, I was very impressed. It was my birthday, and when the front desk clerk saw my ID, he immediately wished me 'Happy Birthday,' upgraded my room to a suite, and even sent a birthday cake. I'm so grateful! The breakfast was extensive and delicious. The indoor pool facilities are excellent, with a sauna and hot tubs, and everything was spotless. The cleaning staff were also very helpful. I had an unforgettable birthday, thank you!

The room was satisfactory and the service was excellent. I sprained my ankle the day before check-in, and when I went to the executive lounge for afternoon tea, the executive lounge manager noticed I was having trouble walking. She kindly arranged a wheelchair for me, which made things much easier – I'm so grateful. The floor service was also very attentive; since I had difficulty showering, they provided a shower chair. I feel like I caused the hotel a lot of trouble this stay, but I'm truly thankful for everything. 🙏🙏🙏

The breakfast selection was excellent, and our room was spacious and clean. We were traveling with elderly family members, and the front desk staff went out of their way to book us an accessible room. The bed height was perfect for seniors, and the bathroom had plenty of grab bars, making their stay very comfortable. The shuttle service between buildings was also very convenient for getting around. We were in a rush this time and didn't get to explore the garden, but we'd love to come back and experience it next time.

Yuki Xu has assisted us with check-in three times now, and each time her service has been absolutely wonderful. She's always so warm and friendly, greeting us with a smile, and she has an amazing ability to anticipate and fulfill our needs. Her service skills are truly top-notch. We also received a complimentary room upgrade, and the room itself was fantastic in every way! We'll definitely be back!

I was very satisfied with the Ruijin InterContinental Hotel. The entire hotel is quite large, comprising three historical buildings, which made for a very pleasant evening stroll. The front desk recognized me as a member and upgraded me to a suite, which included a living room, a bedroom, and two bathrooms. It was excellent.

Strolling through the grounds feels like stepping into an old Shanghai movie scene, with every snap a picture of refined quality. We stayed in a garden-view room, which was spacious and well-appointed. The bedding was soft and comfortable, the amenities had a refreshing scent, and all the little details added a thoughtful touch. The Executive Lounge experience was exceptional; the afternoon tea pastries were exquisite, and the evening happy hour offered a fantastic selection of hot dishes, from cheesy crab gratin to various cold cuts and hams – all top-notch. The staff, especially Carrie, Chris, and Stanly at the front desk, provided consistently attentive and perfectly discreet service throughout our stay. The semi-open-air pool, surrounded by lush greenery, was wonderfully peaceful and therapeutic. Combining historical heritage with high-end service, this hotel is perfect for both leisure and business travelers. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.

Excellent! Escaping the typhoon with my nearly 90-year-old grandma, we checked into the InterContinental again. Last year, she absolutely loved the family suite, and this time, the hotel thoughtfully upgraded us to the room right next door, which made her incredibly happy! 😊 This typhoon had minimal impact on Shanghai, so it was still lovely to stroll and enjoy the beautiful gardens at the InterContinental. 🏡👣🏕️ Even with the wind picking up a bit at night, causing the trees to sway, it was so relaxing to stay indoors and enjoy a delicious Hainanese chicken rice at the Western restaurant downstairs, satisfying my taste buds. 🥣

The service was incredibly warm and attentive; they even upgraded us to an executive room, which was very spacious and had brand-new facilities. Breakfast was wonderfully varied and delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, making CityWalks super convenient. A perfect family weekend experience!
