Riverdale Residence Xintiandi Shanghai

We were very happy with our stay at Riverdale Residence. The two-bedroom apartment was extremely comfortable for our family of five, as the unit was very spacious and well designed. The amenities were excellent and thoughtfully provided. The apartment came fully equipped with a washer-cum-dryer, microwave, oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, and a complete set of cutlery, which made our stay very convenient. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and we appreciated having a bathtub. There was ample space to open our luggage, generous wardrobe space for hanging clothes, a full-length mirror in the living room, and a dedicated cabinet for storing shoes. The living and dining area was also very comfortable, with a four-seater dining table where we enjoyed meals that we ordered in. The location is convenient, with Xintiandi within walking distance—about a 10-minute walk if you don’t mind a short stroll. Most importantly, the service staff were exceptionally helpful and polite throughout our stay. We were very impressed by their service and hospitality. We would definitely book Riverdale Residence again if we return to Shanghai.

Riverdale Residence Xintiandi offers a comfortable and pleasant stay in a prime location. Situated in the heart of Xintiandi, it is conveniently close to shopping malls, cafes, and dining options, making it easy to explore the area on foot. While the nearest metro station is slightly further away, the central location more than makes up for it. Service was excellent throughout our stay — the staff were friendly, attentive, and especially helpful in assisting with food deliveries ordered via the ******* app, which was greatly appreciated. Cleanliness was outstanding, with the room kept in excellent condition. A thoughtful highlight was the in-room washing machine, complete with detergent powder provided, making longer stays especially convenient and hassle-free.

The room is spacious and clean. There is no smell of cigarette. The bed is soft and comfortable. The staff let us early check in and late check out. It’s not in a touristy place, so it’s quiet and tranquil. It’s close to subway and xintiandi just walk only 10 mins. It’s close to every where. They provide laundry machine and little kitchen. I recommended

Chanced upon this Apartment/Hotel and was not disappointed. Had a free upgrade to a 2 x Bedroom Apartment and it was really wonderful. This apartment too is conveniently located. Taking Didi to the attractions (Eg: The Bund, Nanjing Rd East, Xintiandi, Yu Garden, etc) all are within 15 minutes, at most. Metro (Dashijie Station) too is down the road, albeit a 10 minutes walk. Staffs at this location too are very friendly and are able to converse in English fluently. The breakfast is a total let down though hence don't get the buffet breakfast and save the money for either ordering in or eating out.

The hotel is well located, close to Dashijie station and the Xintiandi area. The front desk and the staff were helpful and friendly. The room is a bit outdated, but the room and the kitchen are complete. The breakfast has not many options, but for me, it was ok. This place will be my first choice next time going to Shanghai.

The entire level and room smelled of smoke. The walls were stained and the toilet was dirty.
