Atour Hotel Shanghai Jing'an Natural History Museum Reviews

This was my first time staying at an Atour hotel, and it was pretty good! It's clean and simple. The location is great, quiet yet central, right by Suzhou Creek. Breakfast was decent too, and all the hotel staff were very friendly and polite.

This stay was absolutely fantastic! The river view room offered an incredible vista; opening the window revealed a stunning river scene, sparkling during the day and even more beautiful and calming in the evening. The room was clean and tidy, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were warm and attentive, check-in was efficient, and all our requests were handled promptly – the service was truly excellent. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied, it's great value for money, and I highly recommend it!

The hotel environment is quiet and elegant, the room hygiene is impeccable, and the facilities are complete and functional. The staff are gentle and polite, paying great attention to detail, making one feel very secure and comfortable. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely stay here again next time.

The room environment was quite good. However, when I asked for an extra quilt later, there were none left. I have to give a huge shout-out to the auntie and a young man at the first-floor restaurant. We went to the supper canteen around 10:30 PM, and they had run out of congee. The auntie specially made some for us, and it was a very, very delicious millet congee. Both the auntie and the young man were incredibly warm and welcoming. On the first day of the ***** New Year, we truly felt at home. My child spontaneously said we should give a good review to the kitchen auntie and the young man, and so here it is!

Located in the city center, right by the Suzhou River, but transportation isn't super convenient. You'll need to walk a bit to get to public transport. The room faced north with a river view. The bathroom was a glass enclosure with no window. The room itself was a bit cramped, and not a standard rectangular shape, featuring a raised platform. The lobby, however, was quite spacious. It was a comfortable spot to relax, use your phone, play games, or read, with various comfy seating options. The breakfast was really good! Some of the side dishes were delicious, and there was a decent variety, well-prepared. Overall, the service was good. They even gave a thoughtful parting gift, though the handwriting on the card was, shall we say, not the best. If I wrote like that, I'd be a bit embarrassed to give it to someone! (I guess young people don't practice their calligraphy much these days.)

Great hotel with excellent service and a fantastic breakfast. The location is super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be back; it's really good value for money and the room design is very modern.

Overall, very satisfied! 👍 The room wasn't huge, but Atour hotels always have the most comfortable pillows. I booked a windowless room and they kindly upgraded me for free 🙏. The hotel is a convenient 10-minute walk to the Natural History Museum – perfect for a leisurely stroll after breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, while the selection wasn't vast, it was enough and tasted good. The lady cooking noodles was lovely; she even helped bring the noodles over for my child. They also gave us a little gift when we left! 🎁

Traveling with family, Atour Hotel's quality is consistently excellent. The price offers great value for money, the environment is comfortable, and the bedding is perfect. It was a fantastic experience, and they even gave us a small gift. Five stars!

The front desk staff were super friendly, and the location is fantastic. You can easily walk to the Natural History Museum and Lee Gardens for dining. Lots of families with kids stay here. On the way to Line 1, I spotted some Republic of China-era buildings, the South Suzhou River Park, and the 1908 building (which was China's first Chinese-owned bank warehouse). When I checked out, the front desk even gave me a thoughtful little gift that came in handy later on my trip. So considerate!

Pretty good. The location by Suzhou Creek is nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle, offering great value for money. It's just a few hundred meters from Liyuan, so dining options are convenient.
