Fantastic value for money! The rooms and linens were spotless. The lady at the front desk provided excellent service. The hotel is also conveniently located close to the subway entrance. I'll definitely choose Haiyou again on my next visit. Highly recommended!

We stayed for two days with our child. We started in a standard room, but switched to a king-sized room for the second night. For budget travelers, this place is a great option. It was clean, and the king-sized room we booked was a decent size.

My friend and I checked in simultaneously. Interestingly, the standard single room my friend booked through Huazhu was the exact same size as the 'Superior King Room' I had booked via Ctrip. The room I was initially assigned clearly resembled a standard king room as depicted on the booking platform. When I brought this up at the front desk, they insisted it *was* the 'Superior King Room'. It wasn't until I demanded a room change that I was finally given a room that actually matched the 'Superior King Room' shown in their pictures. The two rooms, including their size, were entirely different. And the bathroom in that first room was so tiny I could barely turn around without bumping into the walls! The hotel's amenities list mentions parking, but conveniently omits that it's on a first-come, first-served basis. By the time I arrived, all parking spots were taken, forcing me to find alternative parking elsewhere. (The attached photo is of my friend's standard single room, which is advertised as 10 square meters on the platform.)

It's pretty good! The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center. However, I was genuinely surprised to find such an affordable hotel in Shanghai – excellent value for money! I highly recommend it to budget travelers and students. Big thumbs up!

The hotel is quite dated, but cleanliness was acceptable. The room was small, had a noticeable odor, and the bedding felt incredibly damp. To be fair, the staff's service was excellent. I've stayed at other Hiyou hotels and usually found them to be decent and reliable, which is why I brought my family here. However, this particular branch was a big disappointment. Interestingly, the walk-in rate at the hotel was even cheaper than the price on Ctrip. I would not recommend this place.

Friendly Front Desk Staff. Friendly Cleaning Ladies. 18 day stay , 2 rooms for family members. the rooms were non-smoking , however we could smell smoke on a daily basis especially when turning on the air conditioning, may have been coming though the vents. Not sure if the rooms across from us on floor 2 were smoking rooms. Front desk did there best with us when translating any request from English to Chinese. Rooms were updated, pleasant for the long stay. Location was great for us. 5 min walk to metro, 2 min walk to bus. walking distance for food , groceries, etc. Nice parks within 5 min walk. Will be returning to this location for sure. Thank you from Canada !

Great, I was given a complimentary upgrade to a king room.

It's a no-frills place, but clean. If you're in town for a game, it's conveniently located just two subway stops away. It offers good value for money, but make sure to book well in advance, otherwise, prices can skyrocket. Overall, it was decent, and the service was good. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming.

Terrible (apart from its convenient subway location)... The room was tiny, the cleanliness was dreadful, and the soundproofing was awful. Honestly, its only redeeming features were the location and the low price.

Kudos to the front desk lady! I caused her some trouble, but she was incredibly sweet and helpful, and quickly sorted everything out for me. Huge thanks!

Convenient location, free parking, and excellent value for money.

The hotel is in a great location, easy to find, and conveniently close to both the highway and the subway station, making transportation very easy. Parking is also a breeze. The hotel itself was clean and comfortable, ensuring a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

Overall, it was quite good. For the price, it offers excellent value. While the property itself is a bit dated, the environment is clean and comfortable. The surrounding area is also very convenient and easy to find. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Got a call at 11:30 AM for a check-out reminder; the phone ring was quite startling. 😅 The room was located in the very back. An inner window isn't ideal, but a curtain is essential as it gets incredibly bright at night, making sleep difficult. 😢
