Overall, we had a great stay at Shanghai Elong. The location is excellent, and the service was consistently professional and friendly. However, a few things took away from the experience—many guests were smoking in the lifts and toilets, which was unpleasant. On our check-out day, they started changing the carpet, and there was glue all over the floor, which made our shoes sticky. Despite these issues, it was still a good stay and we’d consider coming back.

Great place to stay in Shanghai! The location is perfect, close to many attractions, and the staff is super friendly and helpful.
Rooms are clean, the atmosphere is cozy, and everything feels well taken care of.
Would definitely recommend! ⭐️

The stay was excellent. It was our first time to China and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I’ve heard A/C in some hotels were a problem but not at all here. Very close to Nanjing road and the Bund with excellent view. We will definitely stay here again if we come back to China.

Room, location, and service from staff was all excellent. Not having to take a metro to get to Nanjing road pedestrian street saves us a lot of precious time and energy. The welcome gifts and check out gifts added made everything extra special. Well done Elong Hotel. The view from Nanjing road facing room was also awesome.

We enjoyed our stay here as is very convenient to anywhere. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Order food thru the staff and receive the delivery thru robot. Will come back again soon.

Very nice hotel close to Nanjing and The Bund. Rooms are clean and the staff is helpful and nice. Amazing ratio quality/price. Super recommended!

Good location which is walkable to Nanjing East Road and subway station which allows you to travel to Yuyuan garden/Nanjing West Road/The North Bund (2 to 3 stations away)
Breakfast spread was good which is able to cater to my family of 3 including a 4 year old child.
They include complimentary coffee at the lobby as well as supper from 8pm to 10pm (4 type of noodle or dumpling soup or dry).
Cleanliness of the room was great, however smoke smell was common in the lobby area as common to other hotels in china as well.
Hotel have a mini play area for kids while you wait for check in or cabs or private hire car.
