The location is fantastic, just a little off Nanjing Road and the Metro station isn't far either. It was great to be able to head back and rest after a long day of sightseeing. The room was a bit small, but the service was good and the cleanliness was also decent.

The cleanliness inside the hotel is impeccable; every corner of the room was spotless. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, toiletries were plentiful, and hot water supply was stable. The soundproofing was great, providing a quiet retreat in a bustling area, allowing us to rest well after a day of sightseeing. The front desk staff were gentle and patient, handling check-in and check-out quickly. They helped with luggage and patiently answered all our travel questions, providing thoughtful and thorough service. The overall decor is simple yet elegant and luxurious, with complete facilities. The value for money in the core area of Nanjing Road is exceptional. Traveling with children, we felt safe and comfortable. Next time we visit Shanghai, this will definitely be our top choice. There's no elevator from the first to the second floor of the hotel, and we arrived with big suitcases, immediately wondering how we'd manage. Step outside, and you're in a vibrant commercial district with a huge variety of restaurants and shops, perfect for shopping and dining. Public transportation is also incredibly convenient, saving time and effort no matter where you plan to explore. This hotel is housed in a charming, historically protected building. Our room was fully equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, and it was spotlessly clean and tidy. While the old architecture does present a minor limitation with the elevator, the staff's thoughtful and enthusiastic service more than made up for it. Our entire stay was pleasant and enjoyable, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai.

The hotel's location is also very convenient, making it easy to get around and find food. The overall experience far surpassed other hotels in the same price range.
