Good location. Food and shopping steps away. Had an upgrade of bigger room. Comfy room. Overall amenities were good! Would come back to this hotel again if visit Shanghai.

The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the heart of Nanjing Road. It's super convenient for strolling along the Bund and Nanjing Road, and getting around by subway is a breeze. The room was spotless and quiet, the service was excellent, and staying there with kids was a comfortable experience. Definitely my top choice for a trip!

Spent the last few days of summer vacation in Shanghai with my child and stayed at the Nanjing Hotel. The front desk staff were incredibly efficient at resolving issues. Even though it's located in the bustling Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, our sleep was completely undisturbed at night. Just 15 meters to the left is Nanjing Pedestrian Street, which has various pop-up shops and 'Gacha' stores that kids love. A 15-minute walk to the right leads to the riverfront. The location here is super convenient for transportation! It was a fantastic experience, thank you Nanjing Hotel!

Location of the hotel is excellent but do note that when taking didi / taxi, they will not be able to pick / drop you directly in front of the hotel, but the walk is minimal, like less than 5 minutes. Metro station is also around the corner, like about 8 minutes walk. Lots of restaurants just directly opposite the hotel. Hotel deco is a bit old, sound proofing not good, always can hear when people walk / run pass the corridor, sometimes can even hear voices from next door. Can see the Oriental Pearl from the corridor. Don't like the tubed toiletries, especially if you are travelling with others, just 1 tube of body wash (eg) might not be sufficient for 1 day's use. Will consider staying here again if visiting SH again during non-peak season.
