Love the location of the hotel! There is also a family mart just beside the hotel. 5-10min walks to metro but the exit requires climbing of stairs.

Best room i ever had in China especially in Shanghai. The closet have bidet 👍🏻 even the room a bit small but it fits 2 big luggage. They have a laundry room near with lobby, but you have to pay for it. very near with people’s park and people’s square. The receptionist are very kind, she gave us a gift when we checked out. Thank you we will come back very soon and will stay in here again 😍

Amazing location, 5minute walk to the Nanjing Pedestrian Road. Hotel staff were very kind and they upgraded my room for free. The room is clean and they provide you with everything you need.

Helpful & approachable staff, willing to offer earlier check-in and later check-out if available. This was my return stay - hotel kept luggage, and gave me a better room. Room spacious and comfortable. Japanese style toilet with bidet. No fridge though.

Great place to stay. Centrally located, nearby there are metro stations, convenient stores and coffee shops. I arrived and checked in late at night without any problems, front desk is open 24hr. It’s quiet at night, the room was clean and big. They also gave me a cute little departure gift. Overall it’s a pleasant stay.

Great staffs, environment Has restaurant and coffee shop on the opposite site. Not far from metro station around 300-500 m.

We booked 2 x double bed window bedroom, upon checking we got upgraded to a Queen bedroom, it’s more spacious but window was tiny at it was facing straight into the high school (see pic below). Location was okay but still need to walk fair bit to get to the busy area. The sound system not so great you can hear people talking next door or in the hallway. And when making online food delivery orders you need to go down to the lobby to pick it up every time.

I love this hotel so much! As a female solo traveler who first comes to China, this hotel is really foreigner-friendly! The room is really spacious for me, and i'm impressed with the bidet toilet the most. The housekeeper also very friendly and encourage me to have water get filled in the room everyday, which is really lovely for me. The front desk's employees are very polite and they also gave me souvenir after check-out. The location is also really convenient which located in the center of Shanghai and surround with many restaurants and tea shops. I would choose to stay here again if i visit Shanghai next time!

Good location, walking distance to shopping & food. Courteous front desk. Sole Washing machine/dryer located in a small corner, may need to wait if other guests are using it.

Great Stay at Youli Hotel – Fantastic Location and Comfortable Room Even though Youli Hotel is a small property, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room—it was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The hotel’s location is excellent, just a short walk from People’s Square Metro Station, which connects to many metro lines, making it very convenient for getting around the city. It’s also within walking distance to the bustling Nanjing Road. The staff were very helpful and friendly, even though they don’t speak English—they always tried their best to assist. I had a great stay at Youli Hotel and would definitely choose to stay here again if I return to Shanghai.

The location is very convenient—the hotel is right next to a FamilyMart. However, the room doesn’t have air conditioning, only heating, which is quite hard to accept. We mentioned it to the hotel staff, and they just told us to turn off the heating, open the window, and use the provided fan. But we still woke up feeling hot every night, especially since the weather in Shanghai has been very warm these past few days.

Room is enough for a family for 4. The hotel room is clean and with enough socket points for us as we need to charge 4 phones and 3 power banks. Location wise is walking distance to Nanjing road and people's park. A good option to travel to Shanghai.

location was great, metro station a short walk away. lots of food, shopping malls and nanjing road all nearby. service staffs were exceptional good quality to price ratio as compared to rooms in the area, good if you are not spending alot of time in the room. manage your expectation in order to have a good stay sound proofing is not good and air condition is centralised due to the cold weather. not able to adjust to a comfortable heating temperature and we wokeup to a 29degrees room temperature!! the only solution given by the frontdesk was to switch the aircon off. therefore no ventilation for the few nights we are there but due to the cold weather, it is still quite manageable
