The guys at the front desk are super kind and helpful, as a foreigner, they were very considerate that I can't speak mandarin so they tried their best to translate , he gave me couple rooms to choose from, because the room i booked was not available which i could get only the day after, generally hygiene is perfect, amenities can be gotten from desk , AC wasn’t working properly i couldn’t sleep well, the roof is too close that makes the room depressing and small, breakfast is good, location is the main advantage, right after the door caobao road station .

Mr Lin in Hanting Hotel is very very kind and supportive. We have lived in the hotel for 18 days and enjoyed the stay, service and convenience to metro line.

This one night extra stay was due to my return train being cancelled. The staff were incredibly helpful in ensuring I could rebook the same room for the next night and I am grateful for their patience (we used a translator app). The rooms are a little dark and gloomy but it was also quite a bit cheaper than other nearby options, so if this isn’t an issue for you, then I would totally recommend this place.

Hi Rooms is very small but acceptable if you just need a place to sleep for the night. Hotel is next to the metro station and convenient to travel to any where. The good thing is that the front desk and service staffs are all very helpful when you need help on directions.

Super convenient as metro entrance is right outside the hotel lobby door. Room was a bit smelly with smoke but decent for a quick stay in SH.

Located next to metro so convenient for transportation. Smallish modern room with good basic facilities. Checkin using Chinese green card took a long time due to hotel systems and staff unfamiliar with this.
