I spent a night in this hotel and it was great! The room is spacious and bright, and the furniture is warm and comfortable, making people feel the warmth of home. The service attitude is also very good, the staff is warm and thoughtful, making people feel particularly caring. The location of the hotel is also very good, close to attractions and commercial areas, very convenient for travel. In short, I highly recommend this hotel and will come again next time!

During my recent stay at Chateau Star River Hotel, I found the facilities to be excellent and the interior decor tastefully designed, creating a luxurious and elegant atmosphere. The rooms were spacious and well-furnished, contributing to an overall pleasant physical environment. However, the service quality did not match the standard expected from such a well-appointed hotel. Upon arrival, the front desk staff mistakenly assigned me a children’s room, which required me to return to reception and resolve the issue—a rather inconvenient start to my stay. While the room I was eventually given was comfortable and spacious, cleanliness left much to be desired. The bathtub, in particular, had two dead flies and a hardened stain on its surface, which was quite disappointing. I did encounter staff members who demonstrated professionalism—for example, the gentleman managing the breakfast check-in was courteous and efficient. Nonetheless, such instances were the exception rather than the rule. On one occasion, I decided to book a massage at the hotel spa to relieve some back pain. The treatment, which cost approximately $50, was average and initially unproblematic. Unfortunately, at the end of the session, the masseuse offered me an additional service, the nature of which I will refrain from describing here, but I trust it is not difficult to imagine. I declined immediately. Regardless of the hotel's level of control over this matter, given that the spa operates within the premises, I found this situation deeply inappropriate and upsetting.

The only thing I'd complain about is the breakfast. The restaurant has very limited seating capacity. When I arrived at 9:30 AM, there were no tables available, so I had to wait. Because there were so many guests, the food ran out quickly, but refills weren't very prompt. Even the trays for collecting food weren't replenished in time. The toaster, left unattended, had many ill-mannered guests piling their toast on the tray, which was quite off-putting for someone like me who wanted some bread. Due to the chaotic crowd, I finally found an empty seat, put my food down to save it, and when I returned, it was gone. Don't the cleaning staff feel that's a waste of food? It shouldn't be hard to tell if it's freshly taken or leftovers, right? The broth for the wontons was incredibly salty! So salty that even a person like me, who enjoys strong flavors, found it too much.

Who knows, family members! The hotel we stayed in this time was great! The room was warm and elegant, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. All the fatigue disappeared as soon as I lay down. The bathroom was clean and tidy, and the toiletries were of high quality. The staff was warm and thoughtful, and they responded to every request. The breakfast was rich in variety and tasted great. The location of the hotel is also excellent, and it is convenient for travel. Whether it is a business trip or a tourist vacation, it will not be wrong to choose it. I must give it a five-star praise and I will come again next time!

I would still choose Atour when I go out to play. The lobby has a strong sense of design. The front desk check-in is careful and fast, and the service is very considerate, especially Miss Sanghe. She confirmed our arrival time before check-in and helped us pick up the luggage sent by flash delivery. She is a very considerate lady. The hotel's laundry service is very good. I like the light smell of laundry detergent. The room is clean and sanitary, and the small drinks are also very good. I like the matching Atour self-produced tea and pillows. I will still choose this hotel when I come to Shanghai next time.

We also took the kids to visit the nearby Nanjing Photo Studio film set and indulged in plenty of delicious, affordable food options close to the hotel.

Everything in the room is provided free of charge. The breakfast in the restaurant is also very rich and has many varieties. I didn't know it was a chain hotel until I checked out. I will choose All Seasons when I go out in the future. I will come again next time I have a chance. I strongly recommend it.
