Mercure Properties in Shanghai

Very surprised that Mercure has such nice rooms — honestly exceeded my expectations. The room is spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with a proper living area that makes it feel more like a serviced apartment than a standard hotel room. Everything feels clean and well-maintained despite the hotel having a more established feel. What really stood out was the attention to comfort and details — they even use an automatic TOTO toilet, which was such a pleasant surprise and made the stay feel more premium. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the overall atmosphere was very relaxing. Facilities are well equipped, and the staff were quick to help whenever we needed anything. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Definitely a solid choice if you want good space, comfort, and value without paying luxury hotel prices.

I've stayed in the family room, twin room, and king room at this hotel. The first two are the same size, while the king room's bedroom is a bit smaller than those two. However, the other facilities are just as good, and the beds are equally clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff is meticulous and responsible; they clean the rooms immaculately. The service is friendly, and they're always happy to answer any questions. The front desk staff, Lucky and Steven, are exceptionally good – very professional, responsible, and caring. Oh, and there's also a young, handsome front desk guy who speaks fluent English and can communicate seamlessly with foreign guests. This place truly has hidden gems!

I had a conference nearby and chose the Mercure, which I was very happy with. The transportation was convenient, and it's very close to the train station. The room, in particular, was much larger than I expected, offering incredible value for money. The front desk lady's service attitude was also excellent; she processed my check-in quickly, gave clear instructions, and even gave me some fruit – a definite bonus!

The hotel is brand new, and despite being recently renovated, the rooms were free of any unpleasant smells. They are spacious, bright, and spotlessly clean. The pillows are very comfortable, and the toiletries provided are excellent. They also offer complimentary self-service laundry facilities. Its location is very close to Hongqiao Airport and the train station, making it extremely convenient for travelers. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and the lobby had a pleasant fragrance. Compared to similar hotels in the area, the pricing is also very reasonable. I highly recommend it for anyone traveling by early/late flights or high-speed rail.

As a Trip.com member, the lovely lady at the front desk upgraded my room for free, and I could see the back garden from the window. The room design is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the toiletries and slippers are also good. The breakfast is abundant and delicious, especially the tofu pudding which was very tasty. I had two large suitcases to take to the airport, so I specially asked the hotel staff to help me transport them to the escalator entrance of the subway station. I'm very grateful! The service definitely deserves five stars, and I'll definitely stay here again! The hotel is conveniently located near an exit of Metro Line 2, just about 100 meters walk from the station. Line 2 offers easy access to popular spots like Nanjing Road, Jing'an Temple, and Lujiazui!

I stayed here twice and chose this hotel every time. It has convenient transportation, clean environment, good service and friendly staff! The breakfast is complete, the hotel lobby is very good and parking is convenient！
