Staff not exactly attentive, they looked rather gloomy or exhausted. The swimming pool facilities are partly falling apart which is a shame, just not maintained or looked after well enough over the years. Loved the massive rooms though. Great location and easy access to the metro and railway station.

I stayed only for one night but it was very wonderful and unforgettable experience. Location is perfect and there are plenty of shops and restaurants around and also a park! Staff members were very friendly and helpful. Quiet peaceful hotel environment, suits a minimalist like me and with high tech. Room services were carried out by robots. Hotel decoration combines Japanese Chinese and a lot of western elements, ancient but modern taste providing a luxury feeling when living in. Definitely my favourite.

I had a wonderful stay! The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early. We got to hotel super early and I didn’t wanna wait. So this was a big plus. The sevice was exceptional as well. The hotel is located in pretty good location, there are a lot of rooms, so it is always easy to book a room. The staff at the reception desk is very helpful, rooms are equipped with all necessary accessories. For me, as for the European, was little disappointing not finding dishes of the European cuisine on breakfasts. There is a big variety of Chinese food for breakfast, so if you like it, that will not be a big problem for you. You should also take in mind that the hotel is not new, rooms look tired, so the price per one night seems overpriced comparing to other hotel in the neighborhood.

I booked this hotel because it was very close to the International Dance Center where I was seeing a friend stay. My room was super comfortable, I could walk to wonderful cafes and restaurants for breakfast and dinner, and I loved listening to birds out my window in the morning. The performance was great too so I'd definitely do this again.

So second time at this hotel. When checked in the room strongly smell of cigarettes smoke. So they change for me quickly. Good service. Second room have very bad smell coming drain in bathroom floor. Smell like sewer. Hotel know that this problem because they put air freshener on to of drain. So the. Room has sewer smell mixed with fresher smell. Really unpleasant to honest.

The location was good and the staff were always polite and friendly, but there were numerous small problems with our hallway and room. The hallway seemed like a construction site. The hotel seems like it would have been very nice when it first opened, but certain aspects have been unattended for some time. - Our TV signal and picture quality was very grainy and the TV size was quite small - The light over the bath was very weak - The light in the cupboard had exposed lighting and the cupboard doors would not close, meaning the light stayed on all night - No handsoap was provided - The light switch system was very complicated, we tried but couldn't turn on a single lamp with having other lights on - The ”View Room”'s view was not much of a view - The laundry was unavailable and the off site laundry service would only arrive after we had checked out While none of these problems are huge, they all contributed to a stay experience that was less than satisfactory considering the price and prestige that I feel the hotel owners are aiming for.

I was attending an event at the Millennium Hotel nearby and since that place REEKS of horrible perfume, I wanted to find something nearby. The Holiday Inn Express seems to be newly renovated and everything looked new and clean. The room is small, but they make good use of the space. The bed is very comfortable and you have a choice of clearly marked soft or hard pillows. It’s very close to Line 10, so that’s convenient, and there are plenty of small restaurants and shops nearby. There were a lot of choices for breakfast, but nothing very delicious. Everything was either greasy or (unintentionally) cold. Despite seeming attention paid to making sure that things are clean and well-presented, every towel in my room - from bathmat to bath towel to hand towel - was old and frayed. Also, the iron , despite have a neatly tied cord, had a gigantic red blob on it, and multiple black smears. Housekeeping had to have seen these when they wound the cord and placed the iron away, yet they left it in that condition. Otherwise, I’d definitely recommend the hotel and stay there again if I were to be in that part of town.
