A lovely hotel, well located within walking distance of Jingan Temple and several good eateries. Staff are friendly and welcoming, nothing is too much trouble! Rooms are a nice size with plenty of amenities, and I had a lovely view of the Bund. Breakfast offers plenty of options for all dietary requirements.

Stayed at this boutique hotel during lockdown in Shanghai, the staff are very friendly helpful and try their best to help where possible at these difficult times. This was the best hotel experience we have ever had! The service was beyond fabulous! Matthew and Tina were so lovely and thoughtful. I am only sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names or else I would mention them too. Matthew and Tina went out of their way to offer us gifts during our stay. Matthew even mixed special cocktails just for us! We would highly recommend anyone to stay at a Club Lounge room here as I can guarantee you will be very well taken care of. Thank you again to the staff there for making our stay as wonderful as it was! We will definitely be going back in the very near future!

This a a cute hotel in a great location if you want to go out in downtown Shanghai, since its surrounded by restaurants and bars. The room is of a good size and although the soundproofing isnt amazing there were no noisy guests on my floor so I slept well and the bed was warm and comfortable. The reception staff were friendly and efficient,and there is a nice cafe downstairs. The sink in the bedroom area is a little odd but that is really the only bad thing I can say.

Another great stay at the Swissotel! As always a great welcome and greeting by the night manager Jason. His associate, Jack is also always kind and very helpful with anything that I may need. Always so inviting, caring and makes me feel like a family member when I stay. The hotel is decorated nicely for Christmas and has a nice holiday feel. Everything you need to rest and go again. The staff are friendly and helpful as well. You can hear quite a bit of noise around, but for the price, it was fine. The only thing for me, was that it’s not too close to a metro. Otherwise all was fine, for the price.

The staff at the reception cannot speak fluent English, but they are very helpful and positive. They do their best to answer your questions. Very nice working area on the ground floor for business purposes. Chic design looks quite good. Location is perfect as its in walking distance to the famous West Nanjing Road and its metro station. On the other direction, if you want to walk a bit more, you can also reach to Hanzhong Road metro station. Rooms are relatively small, so if you travel as a family, you'd better check the room photos before booking this hotel. Also, specifically room 714, had dampness smell in the bathroom. I hope the management can find a way to fix it. I recommend this hotel to especially business and solo travelers.

The room was nice and clean if a little bit small. If you are in the city and need a room close to everything, this is it. The hotel is In walking distance to the major shopping center and 15 minutes walk from the embassy. The star of this establishment is the service. The staff is kind and courteous. They also have a working robot which is always a plus. I would recommend to persons who want to explore this area and need an affordable place as well as those who come to do an interview at the embassy.

I didn’t feel very satisfied with the room I originally booked. I upgraded to a round bed room. The round bed room is still very beautiful and the environment feels good. The most important thing is that it is very, very close to the Museum of Nature, 200 meters away in a straight line. There is also a subway nearby. The building is very special, it’s obviously got character but well the inside is very dated, some of the fixtures are not very well detailed for example the shower has some screws coming off and well it’s an old building so it’s understandable, the breakfast was good so was the coffee but half of the staff was friendly and half was a bit careless. It was a good experience.

The location is located on Nanjing West Road, a 15-minute walk to Plaza 66. If you take the subway, you can reach the subway station within 10 minutes🚇 The hotel service is great. When you arrive at the front desk, you will be given a cup of honey water or ginger tea. The sense of detail is great~ Late night porridge is available every night from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Free porridge and snacks are provided. I will bring my parents here around the Chinese New Year, and I plan to book this place then. Really highly recommended

This is a really comfortable apartment in a great location. Transportation to everywhere is made really easy with the West Nanjing Rd subway just across the street. There are 24h convenient stores and a large western supermarket nearby for grocery shopping. The inside is spacious and has a decent kitchen and a convenient set up of a bathroom, large closets, and 2 large bedrooms with king beds. We were here for a work trip and stayed for about a week and the amenities are complete to serve the apartment as a home away from home. The host is very responsive and accommodating and she also provides clear instructions for check-in/out and for the usage of all the equipment in the apartment. Thank you, Faye. Highly recommend and will come back again in winter to try out the floor heating!
