This was the best hotel experience we have ever had! The service was beyond fabulous! Matthew and Tina were so lovely and thoughtful. I am only sorry I can’t remember everyone’s names or else I would mention them too. Matthew and Tina went out of their way to offer us gifts during our stay. Matthew even mixed special cocktails just for us! We would highly recommend anyone to stay at a Club Lounge room here as I can guarantee you will be very well taken care of. Thank you again to the staff there for making our stay as wonderful as it was! We will definitely be going back in the very near future!

The staff at the reception cannot speak fluent English, but they are very helpful and positive. They do their best to answer your questions. Very nice working area on the ground floor for business purposes. Chic design looks quite good. Location is perfect as its in walking distance to the famous West Nanjing Road and its metro station. On the other direction, if you want to walk a bit more, you can also reach to Hanzhong Road metro station. Rooms are relatively small, so if you travel as a family, you'd better check the room photos before booking this hotel. Also, specifically room 714, had dampness smell in the bathroom. I hope the management can find a way to fix it. I recommend this hotel to especially business and solo travelers.

When you arrive at the front desk, you will be given a cup of honey water or ginger tea. The sense of detail is great~ Late night porridge is available every night from 9:30 to 11 p.m. Free porridge and snacks are provided. I will bring my parents here around the Chinese New Year, and I plan to book this place then. Really highly recommended

The location of the hotel is perfect if you want to go out for the night in Found 158. The hotel is only up the road from an abundance of small and beautiful shops. Checking in was faster than at other hotels with no extra unnecessary questions. The decor is a little old but that has no affect on anything but aesthetics. I had two issues however. The only mirror available was in the bathroom where there are no useable plug points for appliances. It was a fun little mission to straighten my hair in the reflection of the mirror.

This is a really comfortable apartment in a great location. Transportation to everywhere is made really easy with the West Nanjing Rd subway just across the street. There are 24h convenient stores and a large western supermarket nearby for grocery shopping. The inside is spacious and has a decent kitchen and a convenient set up of a bathroom, large closets, and 2 large bedrooms with king beds. We were here for a work trip and stayed for about a week and the amenities are complete to serve the apartment as a home away from home. The host is very responsive and accommodating and she also provides clear instructions for check-in/out and for the usage of all the equipment in the apartment. Thank you, Faye. Highly recommend and will come back again in winter to try out the floor heating!

The building is very special, it’s obviously got character but well the inside is very dated, some of the fixtures are not very well detailed for example the shower has some screws coming off and well it’s an old building so it’s understandable, the breakfast was good so was the coffee but half of the staff was friendly and half was a bit careless. I have stayed at Youxi Movie Hotel at 242 Ju Lu Road, Shanghai, China about three and half weeks from 13th November to 5th December. I had a wonderful time there. It located at the central Shanghai and is close to many entertainment centres and tourist attractions and shopping centra. The staffs at Youxi Movie Hotel were very helpful and friendly and the service is excellent. It was very surprise to me that my room is very quiet at night and you can watch a film on the wall while you are in the bed. My room is quite big so once I had my friends came over to watch the movie and chatter. And this hotel is quite new and the my room is very clean too.

I didn’t feel very satisfied with the room I originally booked. I upgraded to a round bed room. The round bed room is still very beautiful and the environment feels good. The most important thing is that it is very, very close to the Museum of Nature, 200 meters away in a straight line. There is also a subway nearby.
