Wangxian Guiyuan Homestay (Wangxiangu Scenic Area)

We booked family room with 2 queen size beds. Location is good about 5 min ride to scenic area and many restaurants around the property. Room is big enough, clean and quite new. The best thing is the service provided by the owner, a young man and his mom...very friendly and provide excellent service. The young man even drive us to and from the scenic area.

We had a wonderful stay! The rooms are modern, spacious and clean. The rooms and bathrooms look very new and the aircon was perfect for the hot weather. The owner was very accommodating and helped arrange transport from the train station. The scenic area is only a 5min drive from the hotel and the owner offered a shuttle service to and from. The breakfast was traditional Chinese food which was delicious and made fresh upon request. Definitely worth it to stay here!

A truly heartwarming stay at Wangxian Valley I genuinely recommend this hotel for your stay at Wangxian Valley. I’ve been travelling through China for four weeks as a foreign tourist, and this has been the most welcoming and heartwarming experience of the whole trip. The host was amazing, we got on so well, shared a lot of laughs, and spent time genuinely learning about each other’s lives and cultures. That personal connection is what made it special. They take care of everything: pick-ups, transfers, breakfast, and thoughtful local recommendations that helped me make the most of the valley. The rooms are spotlessly clean and have everything you need. But honestly, it’s the people that make this place. I’d return next year not just for the valley itself, but to see the wonderful family running this hotel again. Thank you so much for taking such good care of me during my time at Wangxian, it meant more than I can say, and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended.

A Hidden Gem with Heart! Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! The service was top-notch they picked us up and dropped us off at the station and even the scenic areas, which made everything so convenient. The owner was incredibly friendly and caring, going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. He even had a karaoke kit in his car and we did fun sing-along session on the way back from the scenic area at night! The hotel itself is perfect for group trips each floor has a cozy common space with sofas, where we lounged and played UNO for hours. Plus, it’s only 8 minutes from Wangxian Valley, so location-wise, it couldn’t be better. Overall, an amazing experience. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, fun, and genuine hospitality. Can’t wait to come back!

I highly recommend it , it was very nice and comfortable stay , the staff is really nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and well equipped, there’s a lot of restaurants nearby too, plus the hotel offers breakfast which was really good 👍

Very nice homestay! service is excellent, they have private car to drop off and pick up at Wangxian Valley. Home cook rice noodle soup for breakfast was very good. I would definitely recommend this place when visiting Wangxian Valley. They are also able to arrange car ride to and from Shangrao train station.

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was exactly like in the photos — very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The hosts were extremely welcoming, friendly, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location is also very good, in a nice and convenient area. They even offer pick-up and drop-off service from the train station to the accommodation, which was very helpful. On top of that, they provide free transport to Wangxian Valley. The valley is also close enough to walk to, around 25 minutes on foot. They also serve a very delicious breakfast, which made our stay even better. The owner and the driver are very kind and friendly. Since the property is quite new to the area, the surroundings are still a bit sparse and can feel a little secluded, especially at night. For Thai travelers, the local food might be a bit of a challenge to get used to. However, the stir-fried eggs with tomatoes and stir-fried pork with chili are safe and tasty choices. I wouldn't recommend the chicken dishes, though. Overall, it is excellent value for money because it’s very affordable, although the Wi-Fi signal isn't very strong. They provide breakfast and bottled water. The building has 4 floors with 4 rooms per floor, but please note there is no elevator. Fortunately, the driver helped carry our luggage up, and the housekeeper helped carry it back down. The service was absolutely excellent! Rating: 9.8/10
