Golden Rhythm Wild Courtyard, Shangri-La Lakeside Ranch

On the first night, my booked king-size bed room was upgraded to a scenic king-size bed room. The afternoon tea was rich and delicious. I asked the staff if the cheese was for sale, and they ended up giving it to me as a complimentary souvenir. After eating a lot of local food in Yunnan, it was great to find instant noodles available at the hotel, which they prepared and delivered to my room for free. The corn at breakfast was also soft and tasty. It was wonderful to sit in the lobby with a drink, enjoying the view and just zoning out. In the evening, there was a bonfire party with roasted marshmallows, fireworks, and dancing – such a great atmosphere! The next morning, there was a cultural food-making experience. I loved my stay so much that I extended it for another night in a cabin, even though the cabin didn't have floor heating and the air conditioning was a bit dry. They even provided free pick-up and drop-off service to the station. The staff were incredibly friendly. I will definitely be back!

Arrived at the guesthouse around noon after a morning loop around Napa Lake. I highly recommend the cabin! The deer are so smart; one even sheltered from the rain at the cabin entrance and just quietly watched for over an hour. The deer and alpacas are also incredibly friendly; I saw for the first time how they literally *run* over when they want food – so adorable! It's the perfect place to just clear your mind, gaze at the sky, and sip coffee. So relaxing. The guesthouse staff and manager were also exceptionally kind and even offered shuttle service to and from the ancient town. The guesthouse is very clean and provides disposable towels. Highly, highly recommend!

This hotel is right next to the grasslands, so the views are absolutely stunning. It's perfect for someone like me who doesn't enjoy crowds and just wants a quiet place to relax. I could easily spend a whole day here. If you love nature and scenic views, this is a great choice. However, if you prefer being closer to attractions, more convenience, or a livelier atmosphere, you might consider staying near Dukezong Ancient Town. It's about a 20-minute drive from here. The room itself was good too. The bathroom and toilet are fully transparent, which I guess is a matter of personal preference 😂. On the second day, there was a big spider, but the staff quickly took care of it. Overall, it didn't affect my stay. This hotel was a delightful surprise, highly recommended!

The hotel is beautiful, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room are incredibly soothing. It's very close to the grasslands. The bathroom's glass is transparent, so I'd recommend it for couples. The hotel service is excellent, and the butler responds very promptly.

This was the night that gave me the most emotional value during my Yunnan trip! The cabin was absolutely amazing! The room was very clean, all the amenities were of great quality, and there was a huge projector. Step out the door and you're greeted by a grassland and adorable little animals! Although the weather wasn't ideal and we couldn't experience the bonfire, we still roasted marshmallows in the lobby! Thanks to all the staff for their excellent service! We stayed in the three-story duplex family room and were extremely satisfied! The kids had a fantastic time, and after driving around the lake, we found this guesthouse to have the best scenery in Napa Lake. It directly faces the Yila Grassland, offering stunning, unobstructed views from morning till night. It's very quiet, away from tourist crowds, and offers complimentary tea and coffee all day. The alpacas and deer outside are incredibly cute and friendly. A special shout-out to the staff, their service was excellent – warm, attentive, and very responsive. They were particularly discreet and unobtrusive, truly exceeding local service standards. It allowed us to relax and enjoy nature throughout our stay!

Had a fantastic stay! The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The environment and location are excellent, and the amenities are great with plenty of activities. My child had a wonderful time.
