I had a wonderful stay at this guesthouse in Tiger Leaping Gorge. The owner was very friendly and welcoming. She greeted me with watermelon upon arrival and even helped carry my heavy luggage to my room. Later in the evening, she also offered me a sweet orange while I was relaxing in the front yard. The location is great, situated near the beginning of the Halfway section. The hiking trail is only about a 15-minute walk away, making it a convenient base for hikers. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a beautiful mountain view. The bed was cozy and provided a good night's sleep. The bathroom was decent, although I felt it could be improved. The guesthouse was unable to provide dinner during my stay because the ingredients were not fresh enough. However, there were several nearby guesthouses offering meals, so it was not a problem. I enjoyed walking around the area and taking in the beautiful scenery. The weather was lovely when I arrived, and I managed to do a short hike. Unfortunately, it rained heavily the next morning, so I missed the sunrise due to the mist and rain. The owner also introduced me to a local driver who later took me hiking and helped me explore my next destination. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay and truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

This is a very cozy family guesthouse. I was practically exhausted from hiking when we arrived. Do you understand that feeling of salvation when you're the first to collapse into rest after a group of people drag themselves into a village? The room was clean, and the owner even upgraded our room type for free.

If you are hiking the Tiger Leaping Gorge from upper gorge, you will arrive at this GH before Halfway. Walking to Halfway is 700m. Basic accommodation but very clean with electric heated mattress. Run by a hospitable couple. Traditional breakfast served in the morning which we enjoyed very much. Simple but authentic feel. Could have a few more hangers in the room.

Great view; great food; great people. It’s a simple place, but the family who runs it are exceptionally kind. If you’re looking for a good halfway stop while hiking in Tiger Leaping Gorge, this should be your pick.

A great stay in the middle of the gorge hike. The hosts were friendly and the rooms were very modern. The room was a bit cold (it was the middle of winter) but the beds have heated blankets.

This B&B is right at the entrance of the village, easily visible upon entering. The view rooms are especially recommended; just open the window and you'll be treated to a breathtaking view of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and the magnificent Tiger Leaping Gorge. The restaurant at the B&B is the most affordable I've ever been. A portion of mutton soup for 68 yuan was so filling that even two people couldn't finish it. What I'll always remember most is the kindness of the owner. During peak season, I booked a room a day in advance and accidentally booked it for the same day. I didn't realize the mistake until I received a call from the owner at 11 PM. I thought I'd have to pay more or have nowhere to stay, but the owner not only held the room for the next day but also didn't charge any extra fees. I felt both grateful and apologetic. Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people. I've never met such a kind owner.

The courtyard is clean and the views are stunning. The owners and their husband are incredibly kind, and the free-range chicken is delicious. We easily enjoyed the best part of the Tiger Leaping Gorge hike, which was truly breathtaking.
