Yi Ting Hotel Reviews

This hotel is an excellent choice! It is new, with spacious bathrooms and large rooms. An oxygen room is available in the lobby, and the breakfast offered is quite good. It is located not far from the old town and is easy to access by taxi.

Yi Ting Hotel is located a little far from the Dukezong ancient town, takes about 20-minutes-walk to reach there (i.e. Dong Meng aka East Gate). However, the hotel venue is a mere 10-minutes drive from both the Shangri-la Railway Station and Diqing Shangri-La Airport. Despite the “debatable” location of the hotel, I am still very pleased with the overall experience in staying at this boutique hotel (“boutique” in my opinion). My hotel room (with double single beds) on the 4 floor is very clean and the hotel housekeeping service meets my high standards. Also glad to share the morning breakfast served is considered excellent, and Yi Ting Hotel even arranges airport transfer (including to and from railway station) for all hotel guests. That’s certainly a great customer delight!

Newly opened hotel. Very modern looking and close to the main area. Breakfast was a bit limited and they struggled to keep up with serving out the food for the morning crowd

The best hotel we have stayed for this holiday trip to Kunming. The front desk service staffs reception were excellent and very courteous. House-keeping room service were very good with room well cleaned, bottled water, coffee. tea and bathroom amenities were re-stocked every morning. Breakfast were of local basic delights except they don't provide western style American or Continental types. Will definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller travelling to Shangri-la.

The hotel is modern and very nicely decorated and my room was stocked with amenities, including a nice tea set with good tea which you can enjoy on the alcove in your room. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. My room price included pickup from the train station and that was arranged without any fuss through Weixing since I don't have a Chinese phone number. My room and the public areas were all very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. It is a 700 m walk to the Old Town, and a bit far from the main part of town around ChangZhen Lu. But it is easy and inexpensive enough to call a didi or a cab to get to that part of town.

Yi Ting hotel breakfast is average. There is still room for improvement.

Hotel staff is helpful and facilitated change of room to an oxygen room when we had bad altitude sickness in the middle of the night. Room has Xiao du and helps with automation of lights, curtains etc. Breakfast location has good view of mountain.

Room very clean and new.Provide free Airport transfer.The female staff on night 2th quite not good.

Nice hotel with good hardware. Near to old city about 15 mins walk. Only problem is rooms with oxygen supply are on the first floor and you will need to explicitly book those rooms upfront ...But reception is very nice and boss was personally chauffeuring people ..
